I'm in an animation screening this upcoming Saturday! A heartfelt thank-you to Scatterbrain Screenings for putting this together, excited to be included. 🐦

The line for the Bootleg Indie Animation Screening at Annecy was at capacity, so I wasn't able to get in. But I did get Pipi in plush form.

I come back to this illustration often. I love the sense of joy it captures!

My entry for Cramorant from the 2022 Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest. I was shocked it made it to the top 300! Had a lot of fun doing research and coming up with the composition. I hope there's a bird Pokémon included the next time the contest is run. #pokemon #bird #fanart

This was such fun to paint! Heavypaint felt very thematically-appropriate to make it with.

Just a few days left to make your selections at the 2025 ShortBox Comics Fair! With so many fantastic reads to choose from, there's something for everyone. But only 'til the end of October! Check it out here: www.shortboxcomicsfair.com

Saw some crows on a cloudy day. Looked like they were having fun swooping through the air, following each other. #art #bird #birdsky

Rika's name in Japanese is Chili (チリ) and Clodsire's is Dooh (ドオー). Together that sounds kind of like Chili Dog (チリドッグ). I think the two would dress up like this for Halloween. #pokemon #pun #fanart

Red-winged Blackbirds are a sign of Spring in these parts. The male's "conk-la-reeee" call is one of my favorite birdsongs. #art #bird #birdsky

I had so much fun playing the Switch port of moon: Remix RPG Adventure from @oniongames.bsky.social in 2020. This is from back then. Yoshida the talking bird is a favorite. #moon_rpg #fanart Looking forward to playing Stray Children!

Rock (& Roll) Ptarmigan! #art #bird #pun

Made this #fanart after I played FRANKEN by @splendid.land back in 2022. Really enjoyed the humor and all the funny characters. The sprite work in battle was a real treat. Play FRANKEN here: splendidland.itch.io/franken Looking forward to Amazing Treasure Valley!

If you see this, post a bird! 🦆 Here's an illustration of some Hooded Mergansers I saw the other day. They start showing up in my area when the weather turns cold. #art #bird

@insertdisc5.com Just preordered the artbook! Been looking forward to it, "In Stars and Time" is a favorite. Stellar character writing and art direction. #fanart #instarsandtime

"Where Can I Live?" is screening at Stranger Days Independent Film Festival! December 28th, 2024 at VisArt Video in Charlotte, North Carolina. Here's the schedule: www.strangerdaysfilmfestival.com/2024-officia...

Studies from pre-production on "Where Can I Live?" Tried to capture the essence of what makes warblers look...warbler-y. 😆 Big shoutout to the Macaulay Library and eBird, great sources for reference photography.

My short film "Where Can I Live?" follows a small yellow bird (Prothonotary warbler) that runs afoul of human impacts on its environment. It's 1 of 8 shorts featured in animation anthology Things Took A Turn: At The End Of The World. Watch the anthology here: www.tookaturn.com/at-the-end-o...

Pigeon studies from earlier in the year. The bottom right one is my favorite of the bunch.
