Setting aside the whole ... everything else of this. "supported President Trump for nearly a decade" about a 21-year-old is funny as shit, man.

The Washington Post@washingtonpost.com

Michael Fusella supported President Trump for nearly a decade. But as the Iran war drags on and the cost of living continues to climb, the 21-year-old Republican said he feels betrayed by a president who said he’d end overseas conflicts and lower prices.

I've had a few people ask if I could put out a desktop version and I'll release that this week. I'm working on strengthening the "fight night experience" with a better fight engine and a better range of corner options pre ad during fights. Then I'll put out a download (still free, of course)

Almost time for some daytime MMA, the best kind of MMA. Also, I have had an MMA gym management roguelike (kinda) hidden on my site for a while. While it's still a work in progress, you can play it in your browser now. pridefightingchampionships.com/undercard/

UFC 333 started at 10am. Foster vs Navarrete ended like 15 minutes ago. I was gonna maybe stream myself sucking at playing League while talking about the fights. But I'm old, tired and washed, so might just do it tomorrow.

UFC 333 elo thread time. This is a really good card with the vast majority very competitive fights on paper. Expecting a big change from several weeks in a row of almost every fight ending in a quick stoppage.

Jones is TECHNICALLY still considered an "active fighter" since he fought within 2 years (he'll be removed on Nov. 16). But he's only in the active pool at HW, not LHW. So Volk is the current king

Heavyweight: Alexander Volkov def. Rizvan Kuniev, Decision (unanimous) (29–28, 30–27, 30–27), R3 5:00 Alexander Volkov: 1626 → 1631 (+5). Rank #3 → #3. Rizvan Kuniev: 1534 → 1521 (−13). Rank #23 → #30. The big man continues to win and continues to deserve a title shot.

Volkov getting horribly screwed by the judges by Gane remains the top modern era butterfly effect moment for MMA. Gane gets the Aspinall shot, explodes Aspinall's eyes, Gane fights Pereira for interim at the white house, Aspinall vacates, Gane is now champ fighting Hokit while Volkov is stuck.

Update, started with HotS but have transitioned to League. Kind of hopelessly addicted at the moment, but also am trash.

Brent Brookhouse@pridefightingchampionships.com

I don't know that "take up playing MOBAs in my mid-40s" was the right solution for being incredibly stressed over the past few months, but it's where I'm at, I guess.

Taking the trash offsite is crazy, but I can't imagine not at least washing dishes my family had dirtied and making sure we didn't leave trash all over, cleaning fee or not. That said, I do enjoy a limitation on what hosts can demand.

Caroline Haskins@carolinehaskins.bsky.social

Airbnb is banning its hosts from making guests do things like “stripping the bed, taking trash offsite, or washing and putting away dishes.” The hosts....are not taking it well: www.wired.com/story/airbnb...

Getting really aggressive republican door knockers the last week. Talking about "terrorists want to move into your neighborhood" (re: El-Sayed) and shit. Guy just tried it, I told him to fuck off and he got all whiny, saying some, "I just wanted to do a survey, love you too"

This Bills defense is one of the worst units I've ever seen for a team considered a contender. And the coaching is abysmal on that side of the ball. There is just zero playmaking and zero play calling to set up any.

As a lifelong ND fan, sure, that looked like pretty clear PI. And it looked like there was time on the clock. But maybe don't fumble a spike or about a million other things that game and we're not out here looking for kinda dorky excuses or whatever.

Kind of weird to say nobody thinks about Pamela Voorhees when talking about Friday the 13th. Like, some real "have you watched the movies?" stuff, honestly.

It seems like there's not much more baseball to be played, so I'll just say that I love the 2026 Chicago White Sox. I hate how this series turned out. It has been ugly since going up 2-0, but this season was incredible and I have enjoyed the hell out of this team all season. I'm grateful for that.

Aside from 2005, this is the most I've enjoyed a Sox team in my life, and I'm 43, so that's a lot of seasons. Again, the way this series has gone absolutely sucks. But I'm just gonna focus on how much fun this has been.
