working on the next longform video and scriptwriting's always been the hardest part for me. someone asked me why don't i just use AI i'd prefer getting stumped and burned out for weeks and taking time to recuperate than ever using AI in any of my work

the longest video I've ever made (so far) will be publicly uploaded next week! if you'd like to have your name featured in the credits, consider becoming a Youtube member or Patron, those of whom get to watch the video early! i'm really excited and nervous for you guys to see it-

saw these at the bookstore and decided to finally read thru the Skybound comics and... holy fucking shit. this is like the best transformers media available right now what i wouldn't give to work on some animation adaptation of these amazing reads

i've been getting back into reading comics and manga and honestly i've missed just reading engaging stories with amazing artwork and getting lost in the worlds being created. it's relaxing and gives me tons of art inspiration and motivation to reach great levels like that someday

as an animator i can't stress enough how important it is to take breaks and do activities that DON'T involve drawing read a book, watch a movie, play a game, learn how to knitt. you'd be surprised how quickly your creative juices get replenished by just enjoying yourselves

for real though i've spent roughly a year and a half on this. i'm both super excited and nervous at the same time. been wanting to tackle longer form videos for a while, i hope you'll give it a chance🙏 it's up for $5 Patrons and McDingus YT Members if you want to see it early😊

only 4 hours into Pragmata and the thing i like most is the subversion of Hugh being the 'grumpy old guy taking care of and warming up to the little kid' character trope and instead just being a chill guy and great father figure to Diana despite stating he doesn't want any kids pretty refreshing
