Event registration is now live for PRISMΔ∇RHYTHM! We have more exciting announcements coming later in the day - look forward to it!

moca here - we've been looking over the responses to the questionnaire and have noticed a bit of confusion re: the question about cash prizes, so i'd like to take a minute to clarify! TLDR: this is to comply with japanese law, not at all to cut costs for the T/O's sake. (1/3)

to put it simply, japanese law's very broad definition of "gambling" makes it illegal to receive cash prizes from a tournament if prize money comes from participants' entry fees. it's possible to get around this in some cases, but those are gray areas more than anything. (2/3)

Before we finalize rulesets & open registration, we'd like to hear from you! If you have any interest in attending PRISMΔ∇RHYTHM, please fill out this short questionnaire. It shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes!
