Arkansas bankruptcy filings for farmers has almost surpassed last year's figures. I think the media ignores this issue, including the why part, & focuses instead on large corp. It's understandable why, but think of the effects on a local level & nationality for consumers. It's all interconnected.

Day of the Dead for Pets! Great Idea! My doggies are long gone, but they we were all awesome!!! The laughs, smiles, and memories they gave me can never be taken away!!

Meanwhile me getting a mortgage is difficult bc its under $50k. I might actually have to put down less, get approved, then when I close pay down the mortgage. Beyond idiotic.

it’s just grift after fucking grift with these people

I know, odd thing to post, but being Cuban -American, hear me out. This bug comes into the house. My wife says it's a roach, kill it. I say no. He's cool looking. I'll catch him throw him out. Something unique about this "bug."

Bankruptcy filings have risen across the board for businesses, consumers, and farmers. Arkansas leads the country in farmer bankruptcies (Chapter 12).

I was thinking of what to start packing today, so I thought of glassware. Then I realized the days of getting the Sunday Newspaper for packing are long gone....

The way the bankruptcy code is written, this always happens. That LIV Golf would do it is predictable. But do it as a consumer.... This is why I always say the bankruptcy laws are written to protect creditors and corporations, not you!

As I continue to "enjoy" home shopping, it can't be under contract and back on the market. And personally, I wouldn't call for a "backup" offer, other than to go lower than the current buyer.

Besides most people struggling with the rising cost of everything, it's little things like this that add to the stress. Is it really necessary to tell me one month in advance I have a bill due?

When I saw a long list of things to do, I move on. Inevitably you miss something and then there's a $ dispute I have no time for. Cleaning, maintenance are the costs of doing business.

House hunting is always interesting. Here's the perfect spot for the television in the living room, but for some reason, they put a sink there....🤔

It's been a while, but I just saw a Hummer. The first thing I thought about was gas prices and how that person feels every time they go to the pump.

I agree. The AI boom is propping up the economy. But it can't do so forever and for how much longer will investors and banks throw money at a product that isn't profitable at the time?

There's a lot to be said about the good ol' days. We do get bombarded endlessly. I forget the year referred to, but I read in a book that our brain activity matches that of a schizophrenic in x year. For ex:, I just got noticed for my "upcoming " credit card bill. Payment is due November 12th!

Money Management Intl. is a non-profit credit counselor. They hit $1 billion in client debt in June, the highest amount since 2013!

Never say never.... I posted about a month ago; it's unlikely I would be dealing with an HOA anytime soon. Here I am shopping for condos and, at times, getting sticker shock at how much is charged.

So AI which is propping up the stock market and the economy, however not profitable as of yet, now Microsoft will limit usage? I see a lot of angles to this🤔

Has anyone else applied for an out-of-town job, and then within a couple of hours, started getting phone calls from that area? Weird. These are jobs through Indeed.

Poof! 60 Points gone from my credit score. The credit score system wasn't designed to protect you. It's designed to protect creditors! #bankruptcyblog

Commercial mortgage office delinquencies have reached 12.2%, worse than in 2008 and the Great Recession. This is the 2nd-highest level in history. The worst? January at 12.3%. Source: Trepp. #bankruptcyblog
