Hi, Sky Friends. I'm a tiny account getting the news and a little enrichment here, happy to meet and follow. I gotta block a new follower who shares no followers/following w me, has no identifying info in profile, and w whom I can't figure out a connection. I'm not a jerk. Just trying to be alert.

Supporting creators is great. Yay, subscriptions. But if they also offer free commentary, perspective, expertise, can they stop the guilt trips? Their platform helps them build their audiences, sell their programs, get book deals. It gives them an outlet for expression. They can stop free any time.

Another good one. Hmmm ... but what if we flip the come from to "sure, give yourself that huge check ... now just be sure you're giving your employees the [right] ratio." If CEOs make rain, let them come up w it.

New data from the AFL-CIO finds the average CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 2025 was a gobsmacking 312-to-1. And that's without factoring in Elon Musk's record-breaking $158B pay package. CEO pay wasn't always wildly out of control. Here's how we can rein it back in.

When outrage emerges, even rightfully, maybe we can count to ten while information also emerges, before making slash and burn slurs against people. Against each other. We're so accusatory. We can have accountability without snap judgements. Lead with kindness, especially toward whoever is in pain.

Amazon, Meta, and Microsoft are all planning huge layoffs. Amazon got $17.5B in federal tax breaks last year. Jeff Bezos is worth $270B. Meta saved $13.7B in taxes. Mark Zuckerberg is worth $210B. Microsoft saved $12.5B last year. Its CEO is worth $1.3B. This is what a rigged economy looks like.

I hit the search bar to see if I could mix up me feed here in what feels like smart soc med world. *spirituality *intuitive even *starseed. So many of the feeds are filled with posts about politics. (all on the compassion side of the aisle, of course) The cosmic woo is trying to tell us something.

Please stop talking about war as if the price is gas at the pump. Gas prices are not tragic. People are not collateral damage. Death of young American soldiers and foreign civilians is tragedy. Blown up roads are collateral damage. The price of war is the potential the fallen will never realize.

Dear Long-Run Electeds, You've got institutional knowledge (and ok, power in your life, but yadda yadda), so it's easy to see why you feel the world is safer with you in your position. But mentor and sponsor newbies and upcoming peers. Billy Carter healed worlds once out of office. It will be ok.

Whatever is in the Epstein Files is so explosive that the leaders of the Department of Justice are openly breaking the law every day to keep us from seeing it. (Just a reminder amongst all the other stuff flying around.)

Elected people, We're on your side. How about no more statements in this formula? "In these times of ... when millions of Americans ... djt is ______." What about "I called [important person who can impact] about x. The shortest path to [solution] is ___. We made this move.

Happy New Year! In 2026 may we consider that something good or true can be found in the "middle," walk after dinner more, retire the word "unprecedented," release snark (except when it's really smart and funny), admit that too cool for school is a bore, and reward unbridled enthusiasm. Choose love.
