Really starting to worry that what I hoped would be a three-season @atp.fm arc of @siracusa.social gradually realizing that his "tide-me-over" Mac is his actual Mac might get condensed into a Slow Horses-style six-episodes-in-one-night binge.

I mean it's one movie Michael, what could it cost, two pings?

As @kevlin.bsky.social said, “The act of describing a program in unambiguous detail and the act of programming are one and the same.” “Unambiguous detail” is the difference between creating and commissioning a blurry copy.

If my Drinking Buddy post left you with questions about vibe-coding, App Store rejections, the role of Shortcuts in an AI-future, and what exactly is possible today using various AI app-creation tools, I highly recommend the latest episode of @appstories.macstories.net.

Stu Maschwitz's experience vibe-coding an app is exactly the sort of thing @viticci.macstories.net and I talk about on @appstories.macstories.net this week. It parallels our experience and has profound implications for the future of apps. More on @macstories.net: www.macstories.net/linked/how-s...

This is super cool and fun. And a fairly approachable workflow if you’re comfortable with 3D animation. Hope we see a lot more of this!

Check out my latest VR proof-of-concept: TRON Immersive website environment for Apple Vision Pro. www.sketchbot.tv/tron #TRON #VisionPro

Steve realizes something that Apple doesn’t seem to: a platform doesn’t feel alive until creative people start making cool stuff for it without being required to have an engineering degree.

The orange is not super vibrant. I love orange but I don’t love this. The blue is more Indigo, the kind of you haven’t seen in movies in a decade because colorists nudge it toward teal. The silver is nearly white and has a very pleasing “truth in materials” vibe, especially on the camera mesa.

One thing I’ve not seen discussed: When you set up your 17 Pro, the Camera Control Button defaults to not enabling the fussy half-press and swipe controls. Apple quietly admitting these features didn’t land the way they’d hoped.
