I've said it before, if you're not pairing hoi sin sauce with meat dishes outside of stir fries you are missing a trick. Add it to your sauces, use it as a dipping sauce, squeeze it on your chips (that's right, put that mayo down). Trust me. It's an absolute flavour bomb and you're missing out.

I actually got to do PR fun things again last night lol! Got a preview of the Christmas menu from a local restaurant. Yes, there was a bit of work, but mainly it was just a bit of a knees up lol. After a busy few weeks it was a nice change of pace!

Honestly, the Avanti scrum at Euston is a disgrace. One board says the train is being prepared. The other says it's running late. Then the platform is announced with 4 minutes for people to get to the platform (the doors allegedly shut 2 minutes before leaving). So we leave late. Not good enough.

On a day when I have a huge admin task that involves uploading loads of documents, the Internet decides to go on strike. I can't even listen to music while I wait as I need ALL THE BANDWIDTH

It's been on my bucket list for a while so, today... I tried chickens feet. Here is the Cantonese steamed version. It was tricky to eat, but tasty. The sauce was delicious. I also tried cold, boneless, sweet Thai feet (not pictured). That was not for me. And what is dim sum without dumpings!

I watched that documentary last night. I can't say, because I don't know, if any law was broken. And I'm fairly sure other parties are doing similar - it wouldn't surprise me. But it certainly doesn't look good...
