3. Shelly, a woman who helped arrange and attend his first and second weddings, catered to his every need for 17 years, and whom he hasn’t seen or heard from in 21 years. Disgraceful doesn’t begin to describe it…will have more to say soon.

BASH: But it peeled off. Why did that happen? BURGUM: It didn't peel off. There was vandalism. There was box cutters. There have been 7 arrests. BASH: There are photographs of people cutting a 350 foot gash in the reflecting pool? BURGUM: Dana, I'm not sure why you keep questioning it

Someone ran past a metal detector and was stopped. A floor above the dinner. It was terrible it happened, and i have not seen a SINGLE PERSON in office say otherwise But they are milking all of this for all its worth. Playing themselves all to be victims all the time. It’s exhausting

The federal government is cruel. Trump and his people are a cancer on our nation and morality.

Breaking MS NOW: The Department of Homeland Security *unsuccessfully* sought to expedite deportation proceedings against the family of 5-year-old Liam Conejo Ramos, according to a local school official. At an asylum hearing Friday, the family was granted a continuance. www.ms.now/news/dhs-rep...

Can anyone shed light on what is happening here? I feel like this should be a bigger and explained story in MSM

WSJ Exclusive: A U.S. intelligence official has alleged wrongdoing by Tulsi Gabbard in a whistleblower complaint that is so highly classified it has sparked months of wrangling over how to share it with Congress, according to U.S. officials and others familiar with the matter.

It's a fascist power grab. And Congress has to put a stop to it.

Chris Murphy@chrismurphyct.bsky.social

Pam Bondi just sent a letter to Minnesota officials saying ICE will leave if the state turns over its voter database to Trump. Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

100%. Trump depends on his followers' belief on his myth of infallibity. They need to believe that his failures and idiotic desires and acts are part of their ornamental realities and not the naked emperor the rest of us can see.

George Conway ⚖️🇺🇸@gtconway.bsky.social

The biggest obstacle we face as a society in getting people to accept reality about Trump is that it requires people to face reality about themselves and about ourselves as a society.

Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic. The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.

Breaking news: The Justice Department has issued subpoenas for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as part of an investigation alleging that they are impeding federal law enforcement officers’ abilities to do their jobs in the state.

Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

The same people who spent yesterday, and the past five years, insisting a Black police officer who shot an insurrectionist breaking into the Capitol should be prosecuted are today bending over backwards to defend an ICE agent who shot a woman in her car in cold blood. Scum.

It shows Schumer no longer has the caucus.

Santiago Mayer@santiagomayer.com

It doesn't actually matter if Chuck Schumer votes for this or not. If he can't keep his caucus unified to protect healthcare for over 10 million Americans, he should resign as leader.

Well, the good news is that perhaps the capitulation of a bunch of Senate Dems to a deal that will make the entire government shut down worthless and will give a victory to Trump and the GOP is that perhaps people will finally get the idea of how much damage spineless MAGA-lite centrists are doing.

I will not support a deal that does nothing to make health care more affordable. We are in a health care emergency. A simple one-year extension of these tax credits would cost less than Donald Trump’s $40 billion bailout for Argentina. A vote for this bill is a mistake.
