much of the point was that as a teen I really wished I could draw anime. now, much, *much* later, I figure I start practicing for the first time (with mine knowledge of how to draw guts in hand). while it has taught me some things some discipline, i'm not satisfied yet with where i'm at.

one of the very few material proofs that you're drawing more like how you want to (with frequency, and on impulse) is the overwhelming dread of realizing that you just started to live. I seriously have only become a person this year, and that's as terrifying as it is exciting. much needs to be drawn

i am penisflytrap of pennytree and i upload my art at 3am, draw on 80% opacity black canvases, regularly disappear for up to a whole year, and can't accept money or else i die. the aglorithm WILL NOT pick me up on any site for as long as I live

the mental tax + ennui has been hitting hard the past month. barely been able to do more than draw thumbnails and partially line pics. it'll get better once a few changes in my life happen here relatively soon
