“Looks like we were right all along and the Eldians WERE demons who just wanted to wipe us all out.” Like, Eren’s plan also has 0 justification but they try so hard to make it justified. Armin’s “Thank you” panel will forever haunt me as one of the worst panels in modern manga history.

What sucks is that this show has a few genuine moments where it’s like “Wow that’s an interesting approach to how to deal with prejudice and different ideologies” but the message gets so muddied by the ending of this show. It ends up just looping back into being so… annoyingly fascistic.

Without spoiling, I can not stress how awesome it is to have a protagonist like Dylan Faden. I'm kinda tired of the "Cool Badass Stoic Guy" shit you get from so many male protags, that it is genuinely so nice to have such a soft, awkward, and just pathetically wet (positive) character.
