🥳 Oct 22nd at 7PM: 🧞‍♂️ ML intepretable & construyendo una... Unravel the language of payments & dive into building a GenAI platform with us! 💡 Hear from Adyen experts on GenAI & a UPM prof on interpretable ML. Plus, networking! 🤝 Check it out 👉 https://guild.host/e/og3dm8

PyData Madrid returns in October to talk about Python, Data, Visualization, Artificial Intelligence, and whatever else comes up! This month the event will take place at Adyen (Claudio Coello st., 12), who generously provides us with a venue. This time, we are excited to present these two talks: Hanna van der Vils (19:15-19:30), Data Scientist at Adyen, will explain us how Adyen is “learning the language of payments" through their foundational model (in English). Pablo Gómez-Caldito & Andrés Carrillo Lopez (19:30-19:45), DevOps Engineers at Adyen, will talk about the journey of building Adyen's Internal GenAI Platform (in English). Bojan Mihaljevic (20:00-20:30), Professor at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, will show us how to use the interpretml library to achieve model interpretability (in Spanish). After the meeting, we will stay for networking in the facilities within the same space. ⚠️ Important: On the day of the event, you’ll receive an email from Envoy (Adyen’s visitor management tool) to confirm your attendance. Please complete it before arriving to ensure a smooth check-in. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it. General recommendations: Are you an expert in Python and Data? Are you a beginner and want to learn more? In both cases, you are very welcome! Apply the "Pac-man rule": if you're in a circle, leave a gap so that someone else can join. If you don't speak good Spanish, we will do our best to make you feel comfortable. But be mindful that other attendees might want to use their native language in larger conversations. Use this opportunity to practice your Spanish! If you are bored, feel free to approach the organizers and say «Hi!» At PyData events there is a Code of Conduct https://pydata.org/code-of-conduct/ Super short version: be kind (all else is details), abstain from insulting others or making sexist, racist, or other exclusionary jokes, and do absolutely not make sexual advances to other attendees.

We started the June Meetup with a practical session about Agents 🤖 with Javier Martinez and his talk "License to Think: Build Your Own AI Agent with Python and PydanticAI" 🐍

We continue this June Meetup with Pol Alvarez showing us about generative UIs with his talk "AI is the new UI: Building Interactive GenUI with FastHTML" 🖥️🐍

This month of June, we have two awesome talks about how to use AI for different things. Come join us next week at the Codurance offices! There will be pizza.
