Well I guess it's time to :::grimaces::: get up for (sigh) work. Had a dream my brand new favorite TV show (whatever it was) only released three shows before going on hiatus for a year, and was crying unreservedly. I guess It's going to be a weird day.

And yet there are millions of people who do business with him by buying his company's products and services. I can't remember the last time I heard of a company leaving Twitter (X). People seem to have just decided it's fine to support him.

Remember when his Sieg Heil was just a gesture of heartfelt joy?

You see that attempting to vilify and destroy caring, giving, kindness, love, empathy, vulnerability, warmth, closeness, but they will fail. They'll likely hurt untold millions along the way, including their own, but you can't destroy goodness. To attempt that is to take away the gift of our humaness

Think of the way a mother looks at a newborn baby. That is the emotional state that horrifies them. Because that is the most pure moment of compassion and vulnerability of the entire human experience. The innate ability for us to feel those emotions are what keep them from achieving their goals.

To shut you off from your ability to secure a bond with a fellow human being is their goal. They're doing it but flooding our senses with vileness, violence and hatred - because fear and anger cut you off from your nature and put you in a heightened state of self-preservation. Ask anyone with PTSD.

I don't have much cause to post on here. Most everything that's said on SM is said better by others. But I feel like to not say it and keep it bottled up is not the right idea. If you can't love humanity and all the other people of the world you're living like an animal. Not to disparage animals.

They bring beauty and warmth and variety and are truly the beings that belong on Earth first and foremost at the expense of humanity. We don't seem to offer much to this planet, which makes me think maybe we're the problem. With that said, I believe love is the only way we're going to escape...

The tyranny of fear and can never save you. Not one person is liberated by hate. Hate is the opposite of freedom and liberty. I can't say why so many people choose sadism over love but you will never free your soul by hurting others.

Border Patrol agents under fire for allegedly disrupting children's Halloween parade in Chicago - ABC News share.google/x12oQ4Njbxvd... 'Border Agents "Under fire"' is a strange phrase to use when it's us, who are under fire by a regime whose goal is to cause maximum suffering for their own lolz.

Just like there is no organization called socialism, racism or even fascism. If I were ANTIRA, I would be for anti-racism or an anti-racist. Not in a gang or organization called Anti-racist. Don't let bullshitters bullshit you, prove you're at least that smart.

I'm going to keep saying that there is very simple, very specific power in saying "No". By saying no you're creating a boundary giving the other party their chance to change tack. It's literally putting the response on them. By saying I don't like this thing you've done, that's permission.

They have not sought our permission to break our laws, break their oaths, or to dismantle and destroy our government. So we have to say, no, you're not doing that. That is us no longer watching and waiting. It's an action. If they ignore our action, then we move to a reaction. We convene...

...and we decide. As a group. We decide what our response is now that they've formally dismissed our boundary. If need be, we address our own representatives as well. We want say we want you to act. If they say no, we'll know their intentions, and that gives us the power to act accordingly.

We don't give you permission to dissolve democracy, to disappear or mistreat people in this country, or to use our tax dollars and our military against citizens of the USA. We are saying no. If they do it anyway, they are elicit our response. Then we decide how to proceed.

When Trump and MAGA talk about invading our sovereign states with military force they're trying to antagonize us into an altercation. If they can't incite one from us they will assuredly just create one. Who knows, maybe they already have.

I don't know why would put a man who looks like his cartoon skeleton was illuminated by spooky green lighting in charge of his own health let alone ours.

1/43 Took a while to make sure we got everything.. ...but here is *EVERYTHING* wrong with RFK Jr's multi-decade misinformation campaign against Autism: (Video version linked at end of thread)

I'm curious if the influencers, for lack of a better term, here on BS just copy-paste their posts from the other platforms and don't really participate here beyond that. I imagine they just use an app that posts across social media.

I think it's important to name your fears. If journalist can say "I'm afraid of retaliation" they can meet the crisis head on rather than holding their fears in silence. The alternative is, of course, that they're not afraid, they're complicit. It's one or the other.

If you want to understand the failure of our media, since Kirk’s murder Republicans have fanned out across the media for interviews, all claiming Dems calling Trump ‘fascist’ causes violence. And not a single interviewer has pushed back with: ‘But Trump called Harris a fascist!’

I know people wouldn't like to hear this but it bears saying into the ether: You can't make/force people into your belief system. I mean you can, look at ISIS and the Taliban, but you will never EVER be secure in your beliefs until people are allowed to adopt or discard them.

This goes for every belief system from sacred to secular to governmental. That's what democracy aims to address. That's what our government has stood for until today and that's why, despite its flaws, shortcomings, and weaknesses, it's the best system out there. You don't dominate the citizenry...

...and your fellow human beings, you convince them. Democracy is a system that relies on our ability to work together. If you refuse to work side by side for the common good you have no purpose in the US. And you certainly don't steal a government just because you've detected a security flaw.

This is the only thing that will resonate or even make sense to them. Inevitability the cruelty of dictatorships comes for everyone.

When even a complete spineless sniveling coward MAGA cult member like Cancun Cruz can see what's happening here, then you know it's bad 👇 Trump is ramping up his attacks on a free press and on freedom of expression in this country - and it should frighten every single one of us to the core.

The fascist playbook really comes into play right now, where instead of doing what's good for the nation they punish their enemies and crush detractors. I mean we could have the world's best education, healthcare and quality of life but instead we get all of this.

If I was an American company I sure wouldn't want to advertise with Disney or ABC or any of their properties any time soon. I know they're already comfortable selling to countries with extremely limited rights but this here is America and we have a Constitution with a 1st Amendment.
