If someone wants to transition and then for whatever reason needs to stop they need gender affirming care. That ALREADY EXISTS. This is not fucking that. This is pushing the idea that me and mine are a disease. And there are no good options for what happens next when that becomes accepted broadly.

The worst part is we aren’t even demanding new rights in most current trans rights fights it is a group that openly hates us trying to take away rights we have enjoyed for years and people acting like this is just a normal and acceptable thing to happen. We deserve to fucking exist peacefully.

The large number of literal, open Nazi accounts that are on here that don't get banned, while the entire trans community walks on eggshells because responding the same way these accounts CONSTANTLY post gets us a ban that they will never face ... This place is regularly not safe. Treat it as such.

If you organize a protest and you don’t have answers for how to de-arresting your fellow protestors you are organizing a state approved protest. And attention type protests can matter. But real, actual change comes from the kind of protest they won’t. You need some “fuck you, no” in your thinking.

I normally don’t repost engagement bait posts but this reminds me of the closest thing I have to a religious belief at this point: Some music is a magic spell that can change you if you go through it. Some songs you listen to in one state and the song rewrites your self. You come out another state.

You’re not trying to get back to where you were because you were never going to be that even without trauma. That’s just normal growth as a person. What you can do, the only thing anyone can ever do, is make the best out of the pieces they have in the morning and become a new person again.

Unpacking shit is easy. You just open up what happened and take out the parts and look at them. The hard work is finding a new place for those pieces to go. It helps to remember every day we all become a new person built out of our old life. You are always new. And the sun will eventually rise.

I got a gigantic pile of writing done today. Some of it was trauma processing sure but several components of future episodes too. Including I’m changing what’s coming next to something incredibly important.

Pixar movies are all rendered on gigantic server farms the size of most office buildings. On Monsters Inc, each frame took over twelve hours. It only expanded with new technologies, recent it was 29 hours per frame for Monsters University.
