Well this has been a crazy day,I just had to fire one of my managers,the sad fact is it’s going to be hell trying to replace him,but I’m not putting up with that, and I’m not making anybody else put up with it either, all parties involved said they’re not offended in any way, I am so disappointed!

Wow what a strange conversation,I just had,to be honest I don’t even know how to explain it, but it was a compliment to me,I guess,I don’t know,but any hoo,so is everybody ready for Halloween,me personally i have to work( what else is new!) I’ll have to think about how to explain that conversation.

Well the repair cafe went well , I fixed a lot of stuff , I got to work on a really old , very unique piece it was a toaster , that was all metal and automatically flipped the bread and one side of the toaster had a screen to see the bread being toasted the other side had the word “ NASA” embossed!

Apparently my weekend schedule of debauchery,with reading a book while listening to music and drinking is postponed,scheduling error,repair cafe is this weekend and while I generally am an introvert,I do like seeing and repairing the old items and seeing people happy,for that part I do enjoy, 🗜️🪛🔧🔨🔨

Today was weird , one of my employees her daughter stays at work( she mostly doesn’t homework, and watch tv in the break room) I was in my office meditating, she asked me how to do that, so I showed her , in the break room, she’s got the basics down, me and my new buisness student have to do payroll

Oh joy my new book came!( I had it delivered to the office not home,Amazon doesn’t go there,and the post carrier is so heavy handed with the books,especially the hardbacks )Ican’t wait I can’t wait till this Friday a good book,good drink,and some excellent music in the garden reading ,should be fun.

Well I either got insulted or complimented and I can’t tell which: I was talking with a customer about gardening I was talking and I realized I’d been talking for 5 minutes and I apologized,the lady said “with your accent you could talk a woman out of her underoos by reading the shopping list.”what?

What is it with people lately,at my first job I’ve had people ask me about relationship advice,and I said,Idon’t know,and now at my second job,same thing,I don’t know,tell the truth,clearly communicate your expectations,and your limitations,be kind,I haven’t been on a date since 2009,I don’t know!

What a weird couple of days, is there something in the water, is it the full moon,apparently it’s just crazy train at my first job, there was a physical brawl at work ( still don’t know what’s going on there,tommorow issue) and at my second job we’ve had three wrecks at the same location,wth people

Ahhh we apparently know what’s wrong with me, apparently my liver panel came back in my gallbladder is producing too much bile, which is causing other problems, me personally I’m surprised my liver still works, 

So I just got told today at my first job that I do not qualify for retirement but if I use all my vacation that I have accrued over the years I would , ( ours roll over ) am I crazy for thinking that makes no sense , at all or am I missing something , super tired today , but coffee getting me there

Sorry yall I was in the hospital apparently they want to do a guy culture to figure out why I am not gaining weight even though I’m eating 3500 /4000 calories a day , I feel like absolute butt.

Sometimes I swear I’m full of useless information,one of the girls here at Work was quoting a movie called King Man, Kingsman,I don’t know,but apparently in the movie there was a”manners maketh the man”she asked if that’s a real quote,I said yes actually it’s the motto for Winchester College.

Am I the weird one ? One of my employees asked if I got a picture of the guage as we got filled up at work , I told her sure it’s in my phones pictures , she asked me what’s my passcode then? I don’t have one,never have, why would I need one? She looked at me like I grew a second head,is that weird?

I lent one of the employees at my second job my aunts car,it’s not much a Toyota Yaris,just till she can find something better, and then I can give it someone else to help them ,I somehow have acquired a few cars , but Im still rocking my old 99 Corolla , still goes and gets great gas mileage !

At my first job asked me if I give advice,I said it’s probably bad advice,I should never be the voice of reason in almost any scenario,but what’s up? I need relationship advise, and your one of the only men here,cool here’s my advise then follow your heart,better judgment,and do right by you always.

Ah fun day, I ran into a couple at work who was traveling who is also Croatian we had a good sit down tea , and I must have asked a million questions , if they vacation in Switzerland, they had left shortly before the war , they were living in the same town as my mother and father,good conversation.

Life is weird ,I had an aunt die the other day,( not surprising cancer,but still hit hard though ) she lived one state over,she’d only been in the United States for 10 years,and I’d visit as often,least once a month,her attorney said she left me some stuff,a car, so I just got back with the car,fun

The highlight at Andy’s funeral was on the way out of the service ,his ex-girlfriend (who apparently had a few drinks herself) screamed at me few questions then slapped me twice and was carried off,so yeah it’s been a long few days,I think I’ve been called every bad name, apparently she blames me.

Sorry been gone for the past few days I’ve had three funerals to go to for the past two days and today I’m sitting here in my garden having a drink or lots thinking about a few things that were said to me,not mad or sad,or insulted just shocked ,like my suit is so thread bare,I look tired,it’s 💯true

the three amigas,mark and I were sitting here,they were eating lunch and I got a phone call from the county sheriff,apparently Andy got his affairs in order and took his life about 10-11 last night, they found his uniform and called me,I told him I’ll call his mother,and let her know to call them.

So today the three amigas(the injured one assures me she ok just half a step slow) were going to be doing plumbing, and all that that entails, I got asked did I make my homemade Gatorade, yes of course! And dehydrated fruits and veggies, I told them that later we’ll swing by the warehouse to see it.

So apparently the second of the three amigas is back,I told her take it slow,I’d recommended doing inventory and now she should order her own coveralls,boots,tool belt,ect make it your own just keep it professional. my books are getting an audit, so that’s good, need that, now to make a job listing!

Well fun day one of the amigas slipped and fell sprained her ankle ,so she’s going to be out for a little while and my buisness student brought to my attention one employee is getting paid waaaay under minimum wage and not paid overtime,i was shocked ,only one employee,who? Come to find out, it’s me

Well on to work got the first day of running Jane through the account revciev/payables,regulatory,payroll,get her setup for understanding the vertical integration plan we have coming up(hence the warehouse build,still need a warehouse manager,I’ll look internally) I think she’ll be a great addition

Just stopped by Andy’s place to see how he’s doing,(he’s going to be a wreck for a while)I brought him some good drink, Jim Beam, and talked to him some more,told him she wanted better and she deserves it,now you have to opportunity to be better too,so change,go to school,work out,be better for you

Well what a night,I just spent the last two hours talking one of my employees off an emotional ledge,his girlfriend of 3years ended the relationship,and I had to tell him the ugly truth over pretty lies,I think he’ll be ok I told him take the next few days I’ll cover him and his pay,get rest.I sleep

So one of the employees at store 12 is going to school for buisness I asked if if she would like to run the payroll,and account receive/payables to get an idea for business, get good experience , a pay raise and have some extra to put to put on the resume ? She said yeah that sounds amazing .

So apparently going through the buisness mail,the TCSBA wants to include me in thier 40 under 40 list and do an expose on me and the business, what foolishness is this? I don’t have money,I’m an immigrant,no family, and the only power I have is to raise the prices on the Reese’s pieces ,and coffee!

So fun fact at my first job I was put in as the primary contact on a new ad campaign we’re doing for a new clothing line (moderately big company in the PNW region of the country)first few emails were routine,timelines,style or color changes,very normal,but then the complaints just started I’m at 52!

What a weird thing ,Bruce and I were going over some of the changes we have coming up and he says to me, everyone is giving me advice on my upcoming wedding/marriage, except you, I’m grateful,but what gives?easy, that’s between you and her and requires no input from me, nor am I a subject expert. 🤯

Made this salad for lunch , yes it has protein in it , By the way , yay I’m up to 152 lbs , I should be 180ish but I’ve always been on the thin side , I’m sure my seaside alcohol fest probably didn’t help but it did make me feel mentally better so I guess there’s that to be thankful for .

Well that’s interesting,at my first job got called into HR, they asked me about if I overheard a conversation that happened in the”Round”I said I wasn’t part of the conversation so I didn’t really pay any attention to it,why?Apparently there was a complaint against the staff and I was the witness.

Well I went to a college friends funeral yesterday,wife kids the whole thing I hadn’t seen her or her wife in a while,(that’s on me though) she was asking how I was doing I told her about my drunken seaside getaway ,she asked if I was thinking of having a family,i want that but not in my cards.

Well I’m back ! , I had the worst hangover yesterday but feel centered and calm , back to the grind at my first job they’re asking for volunteers who want to take early retirement (if qualified which I do)lets see , and my second job the 3 amigas held it down while I was gone 1or 2 snafoos, it’s ok

About to start my mini vacation I’m going to sit on the beach listen to the waves and drink non stop just keeping an awesome state of numbness for three whole days, fantastic

I’ll be away from the 19-22 of August I’m hoping that I will enjoy my time I have the reservations set(every year I try to drink so much that I totally forget the 21st of Aug)I have great plans,to the beach I have reserved a whole spot so I will not be disturbed with my drinks and watch the waves.

Well the three amigas had thier first solo day today,as I have to do office work,and get ready for the next step in the expansion so we can start expanding business and the benefits im hoping in 3 years to have the beginning of maternity/ paternity leave,I’m working on the numbers its adjusting #’s.

Ok it’s the three amigas ,Bruce and I in the new truck ,it doesn’t even have 700 miles on it , the old truck is going to mark ,and this new one is mine , Bruce will get a ford f350 with a service bed on it next week (I’m trying to find An older one in good repair)homemade Gatorade on board let roll!

I guess today it’s salmon and spinach with a creamy lemon pepper sauce , oh by the way I’m up to 159 lbs yay,

I just got told by someone if there is a term you don’t understand you can go to urban dictionary.com and look it up , I hav to leave that window on safari open with the 56 others , as a non-native English speaker that sure does help , the euphemisms really mess me up . The more you know I guess.

Cooked Lunch for the crew at work , everyone’s favorite grilled fish , some cold drinks and some chayote salad with ground venison ( that’ll help the protein hopefully !)

Oh geez this day sucks , I stepped in in today , oh well tommorow is a whole new day!

Some okra from my garden, tiny fingernail clippers for scale I’m almost ready for the tomatoes,peppers , and the cabbage , except I suspect I have a bunny that is eating one of them ( waskly wabbit) I’ll have lemons soon too
