A friend experiencing loss talked about how in Ireland every available flat surface would be four foot high with a variety of sandwiches. The marquee erected for smokers and the wake would be 25 times larger than the existing gathering in her house. Ireland do death really well. I miss that.

July 19th 2019- amazing front row seat for one of the best gigs of my life (the other 2 best gigs were also @kdlang.bsky.social gigs). I finally got to meet the person who inspired me to be brave enough to be me while growing up in a tiny Irish town in the 90's.
