Bubble Bobble Part 2 is a bit of an obscure title on the original NES. I always appreciated how it carried themes from the Rainbow Islands game, as well as the original title. Loved its use of color! So far, I think the most value for me with the Switch 2 has been just enjoying the performance boosts on so many Switch 1 games.

No map, no waypoints and a full maze like world. Felt like doing a piece based on the original Metroid title for the NES. It was always a curiosity to explore for me when growing up and set the groundwork for so many solitary exploration titles to come.~ #metroid #nes #nintendo #メトロイド

Still trying to find a good art portfolio platform to move off of Deviantart to. There seems to be so much division between these new platforms, its hard to know whats what. Its one reason why I haven't been collecting a lot of my illustrations in the last few years online anywhere.

I get a little sad when I see Japan doing cool corporate collabs with illustrators, but then in the US, our collabs are generally with some social media influencer or an illustrator that gets no recognition. 😭
