What I don’t think AI and chip/memory manufacturers understand, is that by making home computers less and less obtainable through memory prices, you are going to have less and less people who can afford to own a computer, therefore less who use AI. Supply and demand, you fucking idiots.

There’s this trend I’ve noticed where people are dressing up like they’re going clubbing in the 80s. I didn’t know it until now, but I’m on board. Women’s hair in the 80s was on another level, and I’m here for it.

I get that we all hate AI. But it’s not going away. And depending on your industry, adopting AI and learning how to leverage it effectively is going to be critical to success now. Anyone who doesn’t learn to use it to enhance their skillset, is going to fall behind. It’s not all evil.

I’ve taken up using obscure and/or old “sayings” either from the 90s or just shit I made up, to my 21 year old daughter, to see if anything I say either catches on or starts to annoy her. Today, I just acknowledged everything with “word”. Next week, I’m just gonna start saying “yaw?”

Finished #ControlResonance Without having played the first Control, story was perplexing. Combat was pretty fun, and really could use some more flexibility. The landscapes were awesome and fun to explore. They really dropped the ball on enemy variety, because I fought a lot of the same ones…1/2

… through the entire game. Maybe a dozen or so different enemies (discounting bosses) in total The aesthetics of the game were top tier. Visual story telling at its finest, and the platforming grew on me once I obtained new movement skills Overall, 7.5/10. Not worth the $60, but worth the 30 hours

Am I the only one that remembers the late 90s/early 2000s in a orange hue? I feel like all my memories have a soft “orange” color draped across them when ever I try to recall one from that time frame.

Control: Resonant so far is not bad. Combat does feel a bit shallow, not enough to push me away, but at the point in the game I am at, you only get 1 primary weapon, a secondary and 3 abilities. It would really open up the combat feel if we could switch between main weapons on the fly.

I usually really like Arista switches, but I just ran into an issue where apparently you need to have A LICENSE FILE given to you by Arista to be able to use 3rd party optics. For a switch that has been out of service for about 4 years, I find that ridiculous.
