Friends, it’s time for me to ask for a raise as I’ve finally hit a year in this new job. I have my email drafted and ready to send but.. I’m so scared. 😭

It’s a significant amount that I’m asking for, but my colleagues all mention that this is the rate I should ask for and to pretty much be ‘in the market’. I usually ask for like either 50 cents or $1 considering I’ve worked retail previously, so this feels like a lot.
