🎉We have fantastic news - a bisexual woman from Zimbabwe who we supported has been granted refugee status in the UK! 🏳️‍🌈 💖We are very happy for her, and wish her all the best in this next chapter. #GoodNews #GoodNewsFriday #LGBT

We've just had our third session co-designing a Communications and Campaigns Training for LGBTQI+ people seeking asylum and refugees! We discussed our plan so far - piecing everything together from our previous sessions - to create an interesting, hands-on and supportive training.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🏠 Families belong together. We will #NeverLetThatGo. Yet, the UK's asylum system is forcing families apart. Our support groups at Margate Pride 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈 "I loved Margate Pride, the humour from everyone around us, the lovely atmosphere, and then that mesmerising sunset at the end of the day… None of this would have happened without the support, love, and kindness of Rainbow Migration."

At Rainbow Migration we are very concerned about this change. It comes on top of already very poor-quality asylum decision-making by the Home Office, which is putting LGBTQI+ lives at risk.

75 years ago, the world made a promise. The Refugee Convention was created in the aftermath of war to ensure that people fleeing persecution could find protection, safety, and dignity. For 75 years, it has saved lives across the world. Today, this promise is under attack. 1/3
