The highlight of Great Wolf Lodge for me was I mean kids the core memories blah blah blah BUT REALLY it was coming off of a waterside and the guy at the bottom was wearing Nike Rejuven8s. Ugly as sin but I'd been looking at them because my knees are toast and they apparently have great memory foam.

Took the kids to Great Wolf Lodge. 10 YO could live in a wave pool if she could. We get home and I could tell something was off. Her default answer for how she is feeling is happy. Hey kid. You ok? Happy 🥺 You know... It's ok to not be happy. And you seem like you might be upset. Are you upset?

Yes. Are you upset because we aren't at the hotel? YES! 😭😭😭😭😭 I cant imagine how hard it must be to live a life with all the right words to say in your head but an inability to say most of them. She let it out. She feels better. And I'm sure she'll dream of jumping in waves together tonight.
