Mais moi, malheureusement, je ne sais pas voir les moutons à travers les caisses. Je suis peut-être un peu comme les grandes personnes. J'ai dû vieillir.

If you're suffering from poison-ivy rash, don't scratch it. :)

Funny how each generation must discover for itself the amcient wisdom of the USENET sages: Don't Feed the Trolls. Jonny4Head said, "But surely to raise awareness." The Ancient Sages: Don't Feed the Trolls. They are already known. 1/3

Rocket2424: But know thy enemy and all. The Ancient Sages: Don't Feed the Trolls. They are known well enough already. MelissaEverlasting: But to refute them. The Ancient Sages: Don't Feed the Trolls. They cannot be refuted.¹ 2/3

Xlrplr: To mock them. The Ancient Sages: Do Not Feed the Trolls. They will feel as martyrs for the cause. In sum: Do Not Feed the Trolls ¹Believe me, I've tried. They just dig in deeper. 3/3

I know people dread jury duty, and I understand why. Most of the time it is a day wasted in a dreary room. But the one time I got to actually serve was a fascinating experience I'm glad to have had.

We’re on Day 26 of #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth! Today, we’re looking at another common belief about #dyslexia and its intersection with mental health, and replacing outdated ideas with facts.

Really thinking about what sort of ND I am. There's no doubt about #dyslexia, and little about #ADHD. For quite a while I thought #autism as well, but I don't really vibe with that so much. Thinking about how awkward I was in sports, I suspect #dyspraxia. 1/2

I also think about my interest in dance and martial arts. An attempt to compensate for poor proprioception? My aversion to embodied being. Perhaps a side effect of poor interception and alexithymia? 2/2

Welcome to Day 25 of our #dyslexia myth-busting series. As we continue raising awareness, today’s post explores another myth worth questioning and understanding more clearly.

Lupin: dans l'ombrage de Arsène. S1:E1. I simply don't believe that a man of such self-respect and dignity as Djiop père would commit suicide over such flimsy charges as were laid against him. So was, it Pelligrini or writers?

It’s Day 24! Today, we’re highlighting another #dyslexia myth for #DyslexiaAwarenessMonth. This is an important one, and social media is full of misinformation! Did you get it right?

Tomorrow Netflix releases season four of "Lupin," a series based loosely on the French crime novels centering on Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Cambrioleur. In preparation I've been rewatching the previous seasons, and it is very interesting how the series drifts away from the books season by season.

"I was told," said the princess, "that the point of fairy tales is not to tell children dragons exist, but that they can be killed." "Oh, absolutely!" said the dragon. "You agree?" "These rich, selfish, powerful, cruel beings that need killing, did you think they're literally dragons, princess?"

I don't want to look like that. No sane person wants to look like that. That look is physically unhealthy. Getting to that look is mentally unhealthy.

[smugly] I am much older than that.

The fact that in this protest (as well as multiple other protests) a lot of people tend to focus on the rioting and the looting and whatever, without focusing on, say, the brutality of the police (which is notorious with France) or the root causes, is disheartening.

The value of the home is taxed. It's called property tax.

This is an object lesson is why slopulism is so attractive: people love the idea of a quasi-socialism that asks nothing of you personally.
