I do a full day guided nature walk from #Ramsgate to #Pegwell Bay Nature Reserve all year & from Sept to March a shorter Kingfisher walk & talk around Ramsgate harbour. Dates to suit you. It was lovely to bump into a couple at the harbour who had been on an unsuccessful Kingfisher walk with me last year. Today I was able to show them 2 territorial Kingfishers flying around the port. πŸ™‚

Our annual trip out to see the Fungi in East Blean woods. Highlight was a very smelly Stinkhorn, loads of Fly agaric and for me best of all was seeing three deer running through the woods!!!

I think its been a really good year for Wall Brown butterflies. Other than the Whites they seem to be the most plentiful butterflies on the wing for the past few weeks around #Ramsgate and #Pegwell. πŸ™‚

It wasn't just military planes flying past. The Peregrine was being mobbed by the crows and gulls and a Greenshank was on the incoming tide. πŸ™‚ #Pegwell

It's not every day you get a 'Lifer'. I spotted ny first ever Long-tailed Blue #Butterfly along the fence line opposite the Port of #Ramsgate entrance! πŸ¦‹πŸ˜€πŸ’šπŸ‘

The Red-throated diver was pretty close to #Ramsgate westcliff at high tide yesterday morning. It must have drifted into #Pegwell Bay as I picked it up again at the mouth of the river at the nature reserve later on. πŸ™‚ #Kentbirding

I spotted a Goldcrest in the garden on the way out yesterday morning so it was a nice surprise to see a Firecrest turn up for a wash in the garden bin lid bird bath. πŸ™‚

My first Red-throated diver of the Autumn was fishing off #Ramsgate Port rocks and drifting further along westcliff yesterday afternoon. πŸ™‚ #Kentbirding
