Like the MAGA movement itself, these officials blend ignorance and arrogance in equal measure. The GOP Congress isn't doing basic oversight (though this might force their hand), and the inspectors general across various departments were purged as well. This won't end well. For them, for us.

I think about all the women whose lives he damaged. Even if they did take money to have sex with him of their own free will that doesn’t mean he didn’t corrupt many of them or that he is any less of a predator. His behavior of course protected by MAGA www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

In the end, all the lies worked. The lies about Barak Obama, Trump’s tax returns, the 2020 election, what he had at Mar-a-Lago. Immigrants, the draft, elementary schools performing sex change operations, Project 2025. Thousands and thousands and thousands of lies. All the lies worked.

Bernard Lichtenberg (1875 - 1943) was a German Catholic priest who, on the eve of the deportations in Berlin, dared to pray openly for the Jews. The Gestapo arrested him. He asked to be placed on the trains with the Jews but was not allowed. He died on route to Dachau. Drawing by me.
