Abdul El-Sayed or Mike Rogers: 1) El-Sayed does not support the Muslim Brotherhood. Rogers suggested working with members of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2012.

Abdul El-Sayed or Mike Rogers: 2) El-Sayed has MD degree & PhD in public health. He wants to make healthcare available for everyone. Rogers has no comparable degrees & has voted against affordable healthcare.

With election day near there are two major events this weekend. Barack Obama will be campaigning with Abdul El-Sayed in Detroit on Saturday and Bernie Sanders will be campaigning with him in Grand Rapids on Sunday.

The Michigan Senate race will come down to how many voters are bigoted enough, gullible enough & ignorant enough to believe the false claims about Abdul El-Sayed from Mike Rogers.

AOC transfers $1 Million to El-Sayed's campaign. While an unusual sum it makes sense for her to do this. She knows that if El-Sayed loses in Michigan the chances for progressives to win major Democratic nominations in the future will be greatly reduced. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/16/u...

nytimes.comOcasio-Cortez Transfers $1 Million to Help El-Sayed in Michigan Senate Race (Gift Article)The transfer represents an unusually large amount for a House member to give to a Senate race.

Social media posts from El-Sayed's half sister are being twisted to falsely claim ties between him & the Muslim Brotherhood. His sister did not support the Muslim Brotherhood but expressed concern about family members being arrested in Egypt due to connections to them when it was outlawed...

...Before it was outlawed it was the largest political party in Egypt and many Egyptians had ties to it unrelated to terrorism. El-Sayed's mother worked for a relief organization associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. She was not a terrorist and she did not even raise El-Sayed due to divorce.

Mike Rogers is making false claims of support from Democrats in hopes of tricking Democrats into voting for him. Democrats for Mike Rogers is actually run by Republicans. I've even seen pictures of houses with a Democrat for Mike Rogers sign up among other signs all supporting Republican candidates.

dropsitenews.comDemocrats for Mike Rogers Coalition Is Powered by Right-WingersSeveral self-proclaimed Democratic supporters of Mike Rogers have either broken with the Democratic Party or historically supported Republican politicians.

If Mike Rogers is basing his campaign on bigotry & totally false claims tying Abdul El-Sayed to terrorism two things are clear: Mike Rogers has no decent policies to offer voters and Mike Rogers is morally unfit to be in the Senate.

The Michigan Senate race in a nutshell: Abdul El-Sayed is fighting for Medicare for All, eliminating ICE, and ending spending on endless wars & genocide. Mike Rogers is trying to scare voters into thinking Abdul is a Muslim terrorist.

Abdul El-Sayed continues to propose Medicare for All as universal healthcare coverage with all included. Despite false claims from some centrists, he is not proposing a public opinion or Medicare buy-on. #Medsky jacobin.com/2026/10/heal...

jacobin.comAbdul El-Sayed Isn’t Backing Down on Medicare for AllSome commentators are claiming that Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed once supported Medicare for All and now merely backs a “public option.” Matt Bruenig explains why this is not true.

During the Michigan Senate debate Mike Rogers claimed that Medicare for All would lead to a $20,000 increase in income taxes. Under Sanders' model people making $529,000 per year would pay this much. Most people would pay less in new taxes than they are now paying for premiums & out of pocket costs.

Dana Nessel has done some bad things but she is right in suing Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for "llegal and anti-competitive" schemes. Owning the governor for the past eight years might not be enough to protect BCBSM. www.freep.com/story/news/l...

As you see your Medicare secondary and drug plan premiums rise, keep in mind that Medicare for All would enhance Medicare to remove the current copays, deductibles & premiums plus expand Medicare to cover dental, vision and hearing. #Medsky

Unfortunately both Republicans and establishment Democrats have the same foreign policy. Fortunately, "Across the country, progressive primary challengers have trounced establishment candidates by appealing to voters’ desire to end blank-check support for Israel."
