If Pres. Jayawardhana hadn't become an astrophysicist he thinks he might have become a journalist... one of the most important careers one can choose. When a journalist does their job well & has the knowledge we should expect/demand from them we all can make better decisions. 🤓☮️

👏👏👏 There's no place like campaigning in New Hampshire 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 Having worked on campaigns from several other states where I've lived. Pappas' opponent will fall in line & that is NOT in the best interest of NH... or rest of country.

Meet Bryan! Bryan was an organizer for me in 2024 and is now working to elect Chris Pappas and Democrats down the ballot in New Hampshire. He's seeing firsthand how voters are struggling with rising costs and want a new generation of leadership fighting for them in places like DC and Concord.

“The students’ determination to voice their anger and frustration over the future is a necessary and courageous reminder that we all need to be facing facts and acting on them,” Glynnis MacNicol writes about the protests in France.

A little off topic but ~430 trees destroyed against judges orders!! Judge should confiscate some of his favorite property. Lordy, America, voting is not enough. Sometimes an elderly has to vent cuz can't reach him with the cane. 🇺🇸

Trump's DHS raids Rep. Omar's home because of paperwork filled out by her late father in 1995. The Trumpists are desperate. But loyalists at powerful agencies of the executive branch will obey orders. Desperation is dangerous. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country.

Bannon's lying; knows it. His propaganda attempts to take over thoughts of those without knowledge/facts/truth, therefore good judgement. Propaganda is their weapon of war against us.

👇👇👇 I did see the video of Rumeysa Ozturk being taken but I didn't need to see that. I say people on & near my home being taken forcefully. People watching what was being done & guns drawn & pointed at us. Standing on sidewalk doing nothing but watching & being shoved away sometimes falling.

👇👇 👏👏 And then who's next to be called or implied "garbage"? A little knowledge goes a long way.

Mark Jacob@markjacob.bsky.social

If you‘ve studied history, you know what Trump and his fellow fascists are doing in Minnesota. They’re calling Somali Americans “garbage” and “enemy combatants“ because fascists need to create enemies and foment hate to excite their sick supporters.

👏👏👏 Now the rest of media needs to do the same!!

The editorial board of the Philadelphia @inquirer.com becomes the first at a major newspaper to endorse (sorta) Trump's impeachment. share.inquirer.com/BnINC5 "A clear and present danger to the republic... the case against Trump is strong... the time has come to again contemplate his impeachment."

3/ This is risky. Government contractors are banned from making political contributions. For the company to offer donations to Collins in exchange for an official action, or for Collins to accept, would constitute criminal bribery.

American voter doesn't do their "homework." Voting for people who repeatedly harm us is infuriating because it drags the rest of us into harms way. People don't read in the age of "libraries" of information at our fingertips. They make irrational decisions. Mistakes have put us in dangerous places.
