My theory: the true powers behind the Republican administration will do their best to keep Trump alive until at least January 21, 2027. After that they’ll be happy to let JD step up. Before that date JD would be limited to a single term on his own, for a total of just under 6 years.

Vance is so very wrong. He has misunderstood the role of the President. The President is not a monarch. And a foolish president who cannot persuade the court & public that his policies are worthwhile & legal, is owed no deference. Yale should recall JD’s diploma.

It will not matter if Trump engaged in sexual relations with minors at Epstein’s place. Trump is worshipped by his hardcore. They will either disbelieve it, or excuse it. They will not care that he abused girls or women. They ignored his confessions on the Access Hollywood tape.

While listening to a legal podcast today, I realized that during the Biden administration, I rarely if ever found myself swearing at a podcast. But in a Trump administration, the destruction of the Department of justice, the Rule of Law & the loss of the Constitution lead me to swear mightily.

Fox is the one who reported today that Trump just brought in Andrew Bailey to take his job so Kash can get kicked to Ambassador to Some Place We Never Heard Of, so it seems like Senate Dems are the least of his problems.

When a President blatantly violates the Constitution, and Congress does not act to stop it, and the Supreme Court overrules the lower courts and allows the illegal acts to continue, our government is no longer a constitutional federal republic. We are now under an authoritarian dictatorship.

Just finished reading "Careless People - A Cautionary Tale of Power, Greed, and Lost Idealism" by Sarah Wynn-Williams. It is about Facebook, where she was a director of global public policy. A good read; seems consistent with what we have heard & suspected about the inner workings of FB.

Since DEI is now almost criminal, how about bias training? The goal being to make a person more aware of their unconscious biases, so that – being a good person at heart – they make decisions on housing, employment, etc. without letting their biases both conscious & unconscious control.

I am an American, born and raised. I am humiliated to have this individual as our POTUS - and I am angered by the stupidity of those who voted for him without caring enough to educate themselves about Project 2025 and the nitty gritty details of his plans. #WeThePeople #DemVoice1 #ProudBlue

This is a winner in multiple categories: • how stupid can he get? • you’ve got to be kidding me! • what else can he FUBAR? • he can shaft his voters, too • Biden wins he can try to erase • ways to shaft the nation www.nytimes.com/2025/03/10/t...

nytimes.comTrump’s Call to Scrap ‘Horrible’ Chip Program Spreads PanicThe president’s attack on the key tenet of the Biden administration’s industrial policy has set off concerns that he may claw back its funding.

I think I’ve figured out why DonOld dislikes USAID so much. The aid that USAID gives is labeled “From the American People.” When the State Department gives aid from now on, I’m betting the bags of grain will be labeled: “From President Donald J. Trump.”
