A year ago I was at a work conference staring in disbelief at the election results all night. Tonight I’m at the same conference feeling a tiny bit of hope at these election results after a miserable year. Here’s hoping this represents a tide change 🤞

I saw a car with a “both sides are bad” bumper sticker next to a “protect trans kids” sticker. If you’re too stupid to realize that only one side wants to actually protect trans kids while the other wants to eliminate their existence, you probably shouldn’t be driving.🙄

Had a lovely time in Acadia today. Every time I thought about what this regime wants to do to national parks I got angrier and angrier. We were wearing our Penzeys “resist” tees. God give us the strength to keep resisting!

It’s literally painful to think about how we could have had a smart, capable woman trying to lift people up instead of this piece of shit tearing everything and everyone down. How utterly those 77 million Americans failed us. Never forget, never forgive.

I don’t care if you’re generally a like-minded person. If you respond to be with a “oh honey” you will be blocked. It’s the equivalent of the stupid laughing emoji reaction on Facebook, which also warrants a block. We can agree to disagree without the fucking sarcasm.

If you claim to hate Trump, stop whining about Tik Tok. It’s gone over to the dark side even if it comes back. Find something new to like we did with X/Bluesky and stop supporting his madness. Or are stupid short videos just too important to fight fascism?🤦🏻‍♀️

If we ever have an election again, the democrats are in bad shape. So many reliable voters are pissed off at their cowardice in not dealing decisively with the traitor four years ago and then handing the country over to him. America as we know it is gone.

Watched an old Seinfeld today where Elaine wanted to know everyone’s views on abortion. She ends up dumping a guy she really likes because he’s anti-choice. “Someday we’ll have a Supreme Court that will change that,” he moans. Hit me hard today as we enter 2025, knowing how backward we’re going.🫤

You are up to date.
