19 states voted for Harris in 2024. From 1816-1818, there was a 19 star flag, that was never officially adopted. Ironically (I think), it most notably flew on the USS Constitution. Perhaps it’s time to readopt that flag.

While I did not always agree with the Chief Justice, at one time, I believed him to be an honorable man—no more! I hope he is losing sleep knowing that history will define him as the Chief Justice under whose watch the United States’ Judicial System was destroyed.

There is conflict in the Middle East, and yet the price of oil is dropping. It defies economics and common sense. What aren’t the American People being told by their ‘leaders’?

With all the people the government is laying off, I would think unemployment would be going up. Makes me wonder how many are just of administrative leave, and getting paid to not do their jobs?

How long are we going to allow our country to be run by a petulant child?

A couple of random thoughts today… The US is in the midst of a Constitutional Crisis, and Congress is on recess?!?! WTF?! Musk has been eerily quite recent. Anyone else terrified about what he’s really doing?

The wealthy trying to buy elections is a long standing tradition (albeit not a very honorable one). But when did it shift from being something done discreetly, even secretly, to being something you did openly, and bragged about?

If you are a citizen in a place with a special election next week—VOTE! It’s not just your right, it’s your responsibility! Not voting is NOT a choice. Our system of government is dependent upon your making a choice, even if not a ‘perfect’ choice. You have great power. Don’t waste it.

Elected officials in the House and Senate would not be having to deal with Signals fiasco blowback if they had done their jobs in the first place and blocked the appointments of inept, incompetent, and unqualified individuals.

I hear people saying we are heading for a Constitutional Crisis. I think they are overly optimistic. I fear we are already there!

Sitting in a rum bar in Jamaica today. A Jamaican could not understand how the USA could be so f)&@ed up. So they did they did their research. After speaking with them, I think they may understand how our government is meant to work better than many of my countrymen !

Republicans can’t wait to cut social programs that really help those that need it, but are first in line to give big business (like the auto industry) a break.

Not sure what I will be doing tomorrow night, but I won’t be watching a certain person telling a joint session of congress yet another pack of lies.

The US has had Presidents that have: - been smart, others not. -been honest, others less so. -had integrity, others not so much. But I believe this is the first time the US has had a President that is just plain evil!

Our country is at the mercy of a petulant child! Classic playground bully behavior when challenged!

Next week, boycott Musk’s puppet’s address to a joint session of Congress! He’s always about crowd size. He’ll of apeshit if the the ratings are in the toilet. (I’ll read about his insane ranting afterwards. )

—Friday: Government employees must respond to an email or be fired __Monday: Responding to the email is optional. __Now: You must respond to an email or be fired-but a new email later. It’s almost like they don’t have a plan. And the president and his puppet don’t know what they’re doing.

Based on the last two days for the stock market and a trip to the grocery store, I believe the Musk/Trump/GOP driven recession may be upon us.

The unofficial State of the Union address is March 4. (Unofficial because newly inaugurated presidents don’t give a SOTU address). Wonder who will give it—Musk or Trump? Will democrats boycott? Will it make any sense? So many questions.

I must be the most inattentive voter ever! I honestly do not remember seeing Elon Musk’s name on my ballot.

Sure feeling like Musk has successfully led a bloodless coup and is now King of the US. (And DJT is clueless, and our elected officials all seem to be missing in action and just letting it happen.)

Anyone else wondering what our representatives in Congress are doing while the president appears to be ruling the country by royal decrees?
