Wow

On the Guardian today. So many questions:

Australia running low on fuel!

Just when you thought the world couldn't get any crazier. What the honest f*ck? US troops were told war on Iran was ‘all part of God’s divine plan’, watchdog alleges www.theguardian.com/world/2026/m...

Remember when the US threatened military action against Iran because they were shooting their own people?

@craigcharles.bsky.social best album cover. Nowhere by Ride and Vapour Trail for the track. That perfect wave always take me back to my surfing days in the 90s.

I enjoyed Superman. There's a lot thrown at it for people who don't know DC, but lots to enjoy if you do. So many Easter eggs. Feels like the first time someone has tried to make a film based on a Superman comic. It's fun without veering into silly. And Mr Terrific is so good. Perfect casting.

A tough week, even years later. There will always be a part of me that will wonder what could and should have been.

@craigcharles.bsky.social greatest Metal intro is Woodpecker From Mars by Faith No More. Absolute belter!

❗️Do you agree with him? "It is not 🇷🇺Russia who decides on 🇪🇺EU membership. It is the European Union who does that. Two is NATO. It is not Russia that decides on NATO membership. It is the Alliance itself." — President of 🇫🇮Finland Alexander Stubb

Make Monaco a time trial. It just doesn't work as a race anymore with cars that size. Hasn't for years. Straight shoot out for who can do the circuit in the fastest time would keep the venue in the calendar and make it competitive. #F1 #F1MonacoGP

Let's do this. #Warhammer #KillTeam weekender.

Picked up some Barry Windsor Smith gems. #BarryWindsorSmith #Wolverine #Marvel

"To Date is Do Do" more accurate for this season.

Honestly read the name as Jeff Goldblum at first, but that really wouldn't have surprised me.

Shouldn't reporters be neutral observers? This sparked the mayhem that followed: www.thedailybeast.com/mtgs-boyfrie...

I may be into double figures of watch throughs of this now. So cool.

Saw Alien: Romulus. Had high hopes after some positive reviews, but was very disappointed. Like a fan made flick that just adds nothing. Felt like a series of videogame missions that somehow ended up as a movie. Hard to engage when the characters are so unlikable too. Not adding that to the canon.

The US feels more and more like a John Carpenter film every day. It's just surreal.

Saturday morning be like.

RIP David Lynch. A huge influence of my life doesn't even begin. I still use his "Eye of the duck" saying, in game dev for a key moment or character. And despite its flaws, Dune was the first film I saw on the gigantic screen at the Odeon Leicester Square in 84. It blew my mind. #DavidLynch

I saw Nosferatu last night. Still thinking about some of the shots and transitions. Beautifully revolting. So many details and blink and you miss it moments. Highly recommend seeing it on the biggest screen you can find.

Wishing the best for artists, game devs, and striking voice actors this Christmas. You are not broken, the industry is. In no order, here’s a list of Game Studios affected by layoffs or closures in 2024 that I noted—likely missing many:

Just finished KAOS. So good and so sad it's been cancelled. #KAOS #Netflix

The Clash release “London Calling”, their 3rd studio LP, today in 1979. “Punk rock isn’t something you grow out of,” Joe Strummer said. “Punk rock is an attitude, and the essence of that attitude is, ‘Give us some truth.’” “Train in Vain”

QPR actually won a game. COYRs. #QPR

RIP J Saul Kane. Very sad news. Still listening to Depth Charge, Octagon Man and Alexander's Dark Band and they still sound brilliant. Never got the credit his influence deserved. Godspeed Shaolin Buddha Finger. #DepthCharge #OctagonMan

Oh yay. It's Jinx season on ArtStation. #Arcane #ArtStation

Someone called this mass exodus from Twitter ‘the fall of the Broman Empire’ and I died laughing. 💀

Napoleon Dynamite meets John Blanche. Not a sentence I ever thought I'd write. #Warhammer #GrimDark #TrenchCrusade #JonHeder #JohnBlanche trademarkfilms.com/films/d121a6...

Not a bad view to wake up to. Not having the "can I get to work?" dilemma anymore is nice. #RemoteWorking
