It’s been a polarizing offseason, but I think we can all agree on the Celtics ownership’s biggest mistake: failing to improve on the worst in the league, food for missed free throws give away.

Gotta say, kids, if you’re looking for autographs Tuesday night against the Nets on the second day of a back to back is the night for you. This is a pretty light/late arriving crowd

Dave Cowens’ role in getting Jaylen traded is under-examined.

Jaylen Brown has become the 219th ranked scorer in NBA history. He has scored 13,541 points in his career, passing: Dave Cowens. He needs 9 points to pass Khris Middleton for 218th all time.

John says pretty much the exact thing I’ve been thinking for 24 hours. Both JB and JT and are being their truest selves: careful, measured, sometimes overly scripted vs chaotic and looking for any perceived slight for motivation.

Neither Jayson Tatum nor Jaylen Brown is in the right as their mess hits peak stupidity. Enough is enough, and both need to act like grown men before it gets worse. My column: www.si.com/nba/celtics/...

Someone should tell Jaylen to enjoy his 29 point comebacks and not immediately post blue caps on social media. Someone should tell Jayson he doesn’t need to put out his main comments on the trade in a packaged “Summer of Jayson” video while pretending he drinks Dunkin refreshers.

This is extremely funny and also the kind of thing that someone at my institution would come up with.

If you're a connoisseur of on-brand James Dolan pettiness, grudge-settling, and ham-fisted dumbassery, have I got the article for you www.nytimes.com/athletic/771...

I don’t really care enough to do research but all of these streak posts don’t seem to include 2 rather prominent blown 20 point leads in the May 2025 playoffs

Sean Grande@seangrandepbp.bsky.social

The internet: Celtics ALWAYS blow 20 point leads under Joe Mazzulla. Real life: Tuesday snapped a 49-game Celtics win streak when leading by 20. Under Joe, they fall to 136-5. Their win percentage when trailing by 20 under Joe (13.3%), is four times better than their opponents (3.5%).

Hadn’t seen this before. Gotta keep the bolts.

Brand new floor at the Garden this season. But tradition is important to the Celtics, so they've once again kept the bolts -- even though they aren't functional. (The boards fit together in sort of a tongue-and-groove manner.) The floor coating fills in the bolt gap, so it's all smooth.
