I go for my last round of pain injections later this morning. They’re working really well. Less pain, less inflammation and if things do hurt, I recover much faster. A few ppl in my family didn’t want me to get the injections but I told them to shhh and mind their own. I’m glad I ignored them.

Ozempic update for those following: I’m one month in and I’m 8lbs down!! My side effects have eased and my dose increases this weekend!

Had a miserable sleep. Have a stressful and busy day ahead. We’re supposed to close the house deal by midnight and suddenly my husband is wavering AGAIN. 😡 (Don’t get me started- this indecision is ridiculous!) But the good news is I woke up looking leaner & when I stepped on the scale, I am!!!

Proud of teen! She made honour roll again! She really struggled with one of her classes last year (math, because it sucks, I get it) but in the end, pulled through. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Just booked myself a hair appointment and I’m excited because my stylist had room for next week! Normally takes several to get in to see him! After a stressful month, I’m treating myself! Self care - New Hair!

Just hit the gym for a short workout. I’ve been so busy lately that I have let my workouts slide. Time to get back to it, especially since I soon start back up at the boathouse for rowing! 💪🏻

My in-laws decided to cut their trip to visit us short because ‘they realized they didn’t want to be alone during their visit while hubby & teen were not around due to work & school’ Translation: We don’t want to spend time with that horrid woman you married. Me: 🤷🏼‍♀️

So my husband is ‘on my list’ right now. He wants to back out of the house offer, we’re supposed to close on Tuesday. The guy who started this whole search is now apprehensive about moving to that part of the county & doing the minor things the inspector mentioned. Me:

Hubby & I are off to watch our oldest daughter graduate university today! So proud of her! It’s been several years of hard work on her part! She’s currently taking a year off to work before applying to Grad School. She’s working towards a goal of working in the field of Mental Health!

Today started off annoying. The foggy weird weather is not helping my mood. Husband and I are off to the house inspection today. Teen is at school but she’s not happy about it. 🙄 How DARE we send her when buses were cancelled? 🤦🏼‍♀️ Hopefully the rest of the day offers no drama.

There’s nothing I enjoy more than arguing with my teen at the buttcrack of dawn. It’s a fog day, buses are canceled but because my husband has the day off he’s making her go to school, but apparently it’s my problem?

Ozempic update for those following. As of next week the doctor is raising my dose to .5mg. The side effects have eased. She says they’ll probably return with each upgraded dose but I seem to be responding well. I’ve lost just over 6lbs in the first few weeks. Let’s see what happens next!

Well that was fast! Teen had an ultrasound on her toe this morning, she’s still in the process of the bone scans… and our doctor already phoned needing to speak to us about the ultrasound results!! We see her next week.

Good news: I finally slept and woke up rested. Bad news: Thanks to my MS being a b**** I had to use a cane for the first time in ages. At least my cane is pretty! Win some you lose some. This is my life with Multiple Sclerosis.

There’s still a very heavy police presence at my neighbors house. I think there’s definitely more to the story than what the public is being told. We’re all struggling to wrap our heads around this happening in our neighborhood, especially those who know him (I don’t, only by waving).

My MS is being a b**** today. I think my October stress is starting to get to me. My legs feel incredibly heavy and numb and I had an episode with an MS hug earlier. It’s so frustrating. I feel like I’m walking through molasses with weights on. #MultipleSclerosis

Didn’t sleep much last night. Slept in. Woke up still exhausted. Went to the fridge to discover I’m out of Red Bull. Today’s off to a great start. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Threat averted. Shelter in place lifted. It ended peacefully with the guy being arrested. A little unsettling knowing such an unhinged person with a gun was your neighbor. What an afternoon/evening!

Today my husband and I have been married 19 years! We’ve been together 24 years and all I can think of is “Where has time gone?”

Oh boy. Just got back from my teens doctors appointment where she was summoned in after some bloodwork. Teen has had an injury that won’t heal & hurts. Now she’s developing swelling on joints. Blood shows she may have an autoimmune condition so now we’re off to specialists for further consultation.

Well… It looks like we have a new house!!! Just have to get the inspections complete and send off the deposit etc… We won’t take possession for a few months (we all agreed on a longer close) but when we do, we’ll be straight into renovations and then selling this place. What a day!

Well we did it! This morning we finalized our offer and our realtor has sent it to the sellers realtor to present! This property is amazing. 3acres. A river on it. A large mechanics shop. 5+ bedrooms, massive room for my gym. We’re excited! Let’s see if we get it.

Ozempic Update. 3rd shot complete. I’m currently wearing a shirt that I haven’t been able to wear this year. I’m definitely slimming down, between Oz, my cortisone shots & clean eating, my inflammation is definitely decreasing. Even my face & neck look slimmer.

I saw that our back door camera caught something in the middle of the night… Either a rat or a possum (hard to tell) climbing up the back door. Anyhew. As someone who has a fear of rodents, it’s a good thing we’re talking to our realtor about offering on that other property today. 😱

Just signed up for substack so I can share my writing project but I’m already debating my life choices. Imposter syndrome is a hoot!
