The relationship of Canada & USA is so intertwined. We know Newfoundland & Labrador & Gander responded to 9/11 but did you know that crews of construction workers from Newfoundland called the "Fish") helped build the World Trade Center & Canadians helped at ground zero? Neighbours help neighbours.

"Leading them to Safety" (2025) acrylic on canvas painting by Reilly Fitzgerald. It was 25 years ago when the world was shocked and full of fear, and air passengers were guided to areas of sanctuary and friendship, and shown how neighbours and even strangers help each other.

Gander: 25th anniversary 9/11. Newfoundland & Labrador Warning: B'ys, make sure everything to do with oil got a tarp over it when Hoekstra comes to Gander!! All we wants is Americans trying to make us a state, renaming Cabot Tower, or having them bomb the Confederation Building! Hide the oil! (lol)
