Thrilled to announce that my legislation is headed to Governor Josh Shapiro's desk for his signature to become law! It changes language in our state's insurance law removing negative stigmas and better reflect the Dept. of Human Services' mission.

I'm excited and humbled to have been able to take part in a historic ceremonial PA House session at Congress Hall to celebrate America's 250th birthday and the state House's central role in the country's founding.

From public safety concerns to important information about voting, our community meeting in Olney was a great opportunity to bring state government directly to YOU! Thank you to @repbellmon.com, Senator Sharif Street, and all our local officials who participated.

Working people can’t survive on $7.25. It's time to #RaiseTheWage in Pennsylvania because everyone deserves a living wage. The #PASenate must act now for the people of Pennsylvania.

Too many landlords are neglecting their responsibilities and putting residents and neighborhoods at risk. We're working with local and state partners to hold bad actors accountable and make sure properties are safe, clean, and habitable.

Healthcare, housing, education, transportation... there are so many facets to our state budget. I joined Chairman Jordan Harris and the House Appropriations Committee to get the word out about what the #PABudget does for you.

Families impacted by hit-and-run crashes deserve action, not silence. I’m committed to supporting stronger awareness campaigns, tougher accountability, and legislation that helps protect pedestrians and bicyclists across Pennsylvania.

Words matter. When the Department of Human Services updated to its current name in 2014, many legal documents in the commonwealth didn't follow suit. My bill to modernize this outdated language passed the #PAHouse Insurance Committee this week and heads to the full House for consideration.

Thank you to Gov. & First Lady Shapiro for listening to students and school districts, realizing that period products are NOT luxury items & a lack of access to them is detrimental to their education!

The purpose of Jefferson Health is to serve the community we live in. Now they want to move pediatric services miles away? If you want to be in a community, you need to listen to that community and we are saying NO!

We went hard this week in Harrisburg in celebrating the passage of the CROWN Act. Now in Pennsylvania, we can move through life with greater ease, wearing natural hair & cultural styles without fear of discrimination. It’s not just about a hairstyle but having pride in our history and culture.
