🚨New whistleblower report🚨 The USPS is secretly creating an untested ballot-screening system to carry out Trump’s plan to undermine the midterm elections. And that could lead to tens of thousands of ballots getting thrown out.

Your vote is your voice, and protecting that right is essential to our democracy. Every eligible American deserves to cast their ballot freely, fairly, and without intimidation. Know your rights, make a plan to vote, and make sure your voice is heard on November 3.

I'm proud to have secured $1.2 million in federal funding to help modernize the icehouse and ensure our fishing fleet has the resources it needs to thrive. A huge thank you to our hardworking fishermen, who play such an essential role in our coastal communities and local economy.

Last weekend, I joined Andy Neal, an outdoor advocate and former evangelical pastor, for a walk through the beautiful redwoods of Del Norte County. We had a wide-ranging conversation about government, religion, environmental conservation, and the rise of Christian nationalism.

I appreciated the opportunity to exchange perspectives and reflect on these important issues in a place we both have a special connection to. I can’t think of a better place to talk about our shared goals than the awe-inspiring redwoods!

Israeli authorities detained humanitarian volunteers and American rabbis who were peacefully helping Palestinian farmers harvest their olives in the West Bank.

Jewish tradition calls on us to pursue justice. Today, American rabbis and advocates lived out those values by helping Palestinian farmers harvest their olives. Israeli authorities detained them, including congressional candidate @bradlander.bsky.social. 1/3

I urge the Israeli Ambassador to immediately intervene, end the intimidation of these volunteers, release those still detained, and ensure they are not deported. Protecting Palestinian farmers from settler violence should not be treated as a crime.

Yesterday, one of my district offices received a suspicious letter containing an unknown white powder. Similar letters have been sent to congressional offices and election officials across California and the country, prompting a broader investigation by federal authorities.

I'm relieved that my staff are safe and unharmed. The safety of my team and the many constituents that visit our offices is my top priority, and I'm grateful to the law enforcement officials who responded. Political violence, threats, and intimidation have absolutely no place in our democracy.

There's a reason that, in movies, the guys in expensive suits who show up to chop down trees and bulldoze a public park to build a golf course are the villains. East Potomac Park belongs to the American people, not a president who thinks our public lands are part of his golf course portfolio.

Natural Resources Committee Democrats@naturalresources.bsky.social

NEW: A federal judge ordered the Trump admin to stop cutting down trees at the historic East Potomac Park after crews felled about 430 trees in one day. The Park Service has been quietly handing out contracts to remake the public course into a luxury championship venue for Trump.

After a devastating fire in 2023, the Gualala Community Center is rebuilding. I was able to get $1 million in federal funding for this project and it was great to visit the site and see all their progress.

Preventing devastating wildfires means taking proactive steps to reduce risk. I joined the North Bay Conservation Corps in Sonoma County to see firsthand how the prescribed burns they’re doing help protect our communities. A big thank you to the crews doing this critical work on the ground.

Trump has chosen to spend $1.82 billion in taxpayer dollars on projects to fuel his ego. Meanwhile, families are struggling to afford groceries, keep the lights on, fill up their cars, and cover the basic costs of everyday life.

A new ballroom and a 250-foot arch won’t make anyone’s life better. At a time when Americans are being squeezed by everyday costs, Trump’s priorities could not be more out of touch.

What was once a dangerous stretch is now a safer, car-free route for cyclists, runners, and pedestrians – with an unbeatable view! I’m glad I could help out by securing some federal funding to get this long-awaited North Bay project across the finish line.

Slashing offshore wind is a lose-lose for energy resilience and our economy. We are standing strong against Trump’s war on clean energy and saying YES to a better path forward: offshore wind that puts more power on the grid, lowers costs, and helps meet our growing energy needs.

The Trump administration doesn’t get to cut secret deals over public lands and shut out the public and Congress. I’m demanding a full accounting of these data center buildouts and answers on who exactly is behind them.

The FAA already had to account for putting a 250-foot arch in the middle of flight paths. Now Trump wants to call it a “military complex” and launch drones from it, station snipers on top, and store ammunition inside. This new label doesn’t make all the problems with this monstrosity disappear.

Free press isn’t a privilege Trump gets to revoke when his feelings get hurt. It’s a cornerstone of our democracy and part of how we hold those in power accountable.

Trump: "I am proud to announce that, effective immediately, I am banning Fake News CNN, MSNOW, and Politico ... from the White House as a result of their constant 'reporting' FAKE NEWS!"

These reputable, committed journalists work hard to make sure Americans get the truth. Trump is shutting them out so he can get away with all his corruption.    That just means we’re going to keep working even harder to drag him out into the light.

This is a massive breech of the public trust. Mike Johnson is sending congress home for seven weeks when the US is on the brink of losing control of Al which could threaten our ability to live on this planet.

@RepJimCosta, @SenAdamSchiff, @SenAlexPadilla, and I are demanding an end to the proposed Yosemite land transfer. Our public lands belong to the American people - not the highest bidder, not political insiders, and certainly not Donald Trump.

I’ve been against Trump’s arch from the start. Now, his own National Park Service is even admitting the harm this thing will cause. Do you know how we could avoid this harm? Don’t build the stupid thing.

Natural Resources Committee Democrats@naturalresources.bsky.social

NEW: Trump admin says its 250-foot arch will harm dozens of historic sites, including the Lincoln Memorial & Arlington Cemetery, but must proceed anyway. This is despite its own finding that it will loom over the graves of America's fallen & interfere with burials as it goes up.

This is ridiculous, apparently Democrats are the only ones who want to actually show up and do our jobs. The American people sent us here to work. They deserve a Congress that properly functions, not this MAGA clown show.

The clock is ticking, Trump. We’re coming full force for your slush funds, sweetheart deals, donor kickbacks, vanity projects, family enrichment schemes, and every other way you’ve spent taxpayer money on yourself and your friends. . www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

washingtonpost.comThese are the Trump investigations Democrats plan if they win in NovemberDemocrats hope to retake control of the House, and to use that power to probe Trump’s business ventures, legal maneuvers and policies.

Trump and his puppet Lee Zeldin have a vision for the EPA that is entirely backwards: big polluters come first, and Americans pay the price.

The Environmental Protection Agency is repealing rules that limit planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions from power plants fueled by coal and natural gas, an action the agency said would save industry more than $300 billion in costs and help “unleash” American energy.

I know science is hard for these guys, so let’s put this more simply: gutting science-based standards so giant power plants can pump more climate pollution means more extreme weather, dirtier air, and more of us footing the bill.

Today marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11. We remember the thousands of innocent lives lost, honor the heroism of our first responders, and reflect on the unity that brought our nation together. We will never forget.

Their accomplishment is a testament to the value of preserving the languages and traditions that give communities their identity. I’m incredibly glad to see young people embracing Northern Pomo and helping carry it into the future.

This administration is completely out of touch with Americans. While groceries and rent are through the roof, they’re racing to build Trump’s tacky gilded arch that will desecrate our nation’s most sacred ground.

Trump is emboldened on his construction agenda, following the Supreme Court's ballroom ruling. Burgum announced today work will start on Trump's arch. DOJ lawyers also asked a federal judge today to throw out a legal challenge to arch, citing SCOTUS ballroom ruling as precedent.

I’ve been fighting against this with my Democratic colleagues since the start, meanwhile Republicans have stepped aside to let Trump and his lackey Burgum plow ahead. But it’ll be a different story next year when they have to face a Democratic Congress that will do some real oversight.

From the towering redwoods to our majestic elk, our natural world is something we all have a role in protecting. Thank you to my constituents who shared these wonderful photos from across the state!

Our parks belong to all of us. These places should be protected for every generation, not sold off to Trump’s ultra-wealthy friends to profit off of. I will fight this, both for Yosemite and for every treasured park that would be up for grabs if this domino falls.

Anna Kramer@annackramer.bsky.social

SCOOP: Trump officials are pressuring the National Park Service to find a way to give a small piece of Yosemite to a private developer. The land would be used for a road, to give the developer rare private access to the heart of the park.
