The gender wars are a strategy to keep us distracted and disconnected from building a better world for all of us. Collaboration is the only way forward. That’s why my organization, Moms First, is teaming up this Thursday with @equimundo.bsky.social to hold the first Future of Fatherhood Summit.
Can't make it in person? No problem! Sign up for the livestream here and tune in Thursday from 1-5pm ET.
"The answer to the manosphere’s dark turn is rooted in embracing men with sincere affection, shunning the zero-sum calculus of the gender wars and offering a vision of masculine virtue that inspires men to heroic acts of compassion rather than vicious acts of aggression." @davidfrenchjag.bsky.social
Yes, @davidfrenchjag.bsky.social. This is exactly what my Harvey Mudd speech was about!
To be clear: This isn’t about ignoring girls, or pretending their fight is finished. Far from it. It’s about building a future big enough for both to thrive because opportunity is not zero-sum, progress is not zero-sum, and empathy is not zero-sum.
I had a lot more I wanted to say in my @hmc.edu speech about the broken state of gender relations — and how we can fix it. Grateful to @time.com for letting me expand on my thoughts.

My daughters were part of Girls Who Code. The programs were inspiring, community building, and taught them skills they use in their careers today. Skills unavailable in curriculums in schools in this country. @reshmasaujani.com gave the speech we need at this time👏

HERE’S THE THING: Women aren’t having fewer children because we’re confused about our bodies or waiting on a gold star. We’re having fewer children because this country makes parenting nearly impossible to afford — or survive.

Why aren't American women having more babies? @reshmasaujani.com says the economics sucks. Paid leave would be more effective than $5000 giveaways. reshmasaujani.substack.com/p/want-a-bab...
Good. Also, remember when the Trump White House reportedly received a proposal to reserve 30% of Fulbright scholarships for people who are married or have kids? (A form of DEI if you asked me…) You can't pick and choose when you want a meritocracy. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/24/u...

Interesting
Well it ain't rocket science, folks. If you want Americans to have more babies, there’s two logical places to start. 1. Lower the cost of child care. 2. Pass paid family leave.
