The reason McCarthy lost the appetite for his HUAC investigatations was because the country eventually got tired of the antics. I think after 10 years of Trump being a political agent, his own voters are tired of the show.

Blood is in the water in Mississippi.

The Democrats' top Senate super PAC is spending in *Mississippi*: The AP reports Senate Majority PAC is spending $1.2 million to help Scott Colom against GOP incumbent Cindy Hyde-Smith. Colom would be the state's first Black senator since Reconstruction.

You don’t pull moves like this unless you know you are losing

Amy Acton's brother slams Vivek Ramaswamy featuring her estranged mother in a campaign ad. "This desperate, disgusting attack reveals exactly who Vivek Ramaswamy is at his core – a pathetic excuse for a man who is willing to hurt anyone as long as it gets him what he wants."

Beshear probably wins… in 2004. Hes clearly made enemies as DGA chair and the folksy Clinton era persona he has isn’t gonna land well with a base out for blood.

This is insane malpractice. Can’t run for President without some support with Latinos

Playing hardball works. I did it in ‘56.

Some national LGBTQ+ groups are turning their backs on Democrats who have adopted anti-transgender rhetoric in their campaigns this election cycle. “I’m not wasting my time on Marcy Kaptur,” said Human Rights Campaign President Kelley Robinson. www.washingtonsun.com/campaigns/lg...

Egregious pull quote aside, Rahm won’t even make the kiddie table debate and is using gullible reporters and donors to get another White House gig.

“Talking to Rahm, it’s like middle-age married sex,” said John Anzalone, a Democratic pollster who has known him for decades. “It’s focused. You know what you’re going for. And it’s short.” www.nytimes.com/2026/09/26/u...

28 will probably be her best shot at the big one.

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will decide whether to run for president in 2028 after the upcoming midterm elections. In a wide-ranging interview with The New York Times, Ocasio-Cortez said she is weighing everything from gender to ethnicity and her age. https://cnn.it/4jhACF5

You can wax poetic about AOC or any lefty challenger but if they can’t shake it with Black voters then they don’t deserve the nomination.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Democrats select South Carolina to lead off their party's 2028 presidential nominating schedule.

Clyburn isn’t retiring anytime soon and SC is a cheap media market for any candidate to to organize and win. I also doubt that the GOP controlled legislatures would allow NC or GA to move its primary schedule. You gotta play the game whether you like it or not.

El-Sayed is much more confident than in his first primary in 2018. He benefits from the base being pissed and the establishment having its pants down for 10 years. I’d rather be him than Stevens as I see it right now.

The first man to die for American liberty was Crispus Attucks. 250 years later, America still remains a contradiction that’s still worth fighting for. Congressman Powell wishes everyone a Happy 4th of July and to keep the faith, baby!

Crockett will play ball and probably will stump for James. The base is pissed and further alienated and the onus is not on her, but the nominee to address those concerns on the campaign trail. Let’s hope his theory of convincing “moderates” works out in November.
