If the president can override a congressional sanction banning the sale of Russian oil why do we even need a congress? They won’t stop him from dismissing their decisions. So, they serve no purpose. I doubt losing the midterms will rein him in either. He simply will not comply.

The Trump administration’s failure to warn Ukraine of incoming ballistic missiles (into Kiev) should be considered a war crime. There is blood on the hands of everyone involved in that decision.

What purpose does it serve for the president to swear to uphold the constitution if the Supreme Court lets him violate it as long as it’s an “official act”? Isn’t his entire job an official act? The Supreme Court seems to be in the business of negating the law not upholding it.

They took Mitch (brain dead but on life support) home so no one in authority could just walk up and ask to verify his condition. Now that he is supposedly at home no one can verify that he is still able to perform his senate duties. Smart move republicans.
