They shouldn’t have met with Trump in the first place!

PBS News@pbsnews.org

Two Catholic bishops have expressed regret about agreeing to a White House meeting that produced a publicly distributed photo of them praying with President Donald Trump. https://to.pbs.org/4sqgSBP

WTF is wrong with this archbishop to prayer over a disgraceful Trump?

Kyle Clark@kylec.bsky.social

NEW: A second archbishop, William Joensen of Des Moines, has apologized for the Oval Office prayer over President Trump led by Denver Archbishop James Golka. Golka has blamed the media for “headlines, which are often crafted to provoke.”

Trump claimed he heard Obama's event in Michigan today was empty. Meanwhile, the venue was packed, lines stretched outside, and Obama even addressed an overflow room because everyone couldn't fit inside. Mercado Media

He believes the mother who abandoned Amy when she told about the stepfather sexually assaulting her. Some mother.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "This is a disgrace. The mother said that Amy Acton is a liar and she's no good. And you know what? I don't think you can get a better reference than that."

Damn right and we should all be upset at Witkoff for praising Putin. Putin and Russia are our enemy.

Jack Hopkins-The Original@therealjackhopkins.bsky.social

I am sure nothing that has happened recently has angered as many U.S. citizens as what Witkoff told Putin on camera yesterday. Maybe I’m wrong; maybe as a veteran I am particularly sensitive to that. But…I don’t think so. I’ve seen plenty of non-veteran U.S. citizens as angry as I am. VOTE

I think the GOP will hit an all time record on seats lost in the midterms and thankfully so.

Scott Dworkin@dworkin.bsky.social

We counted every polling place on Texas's own list. Dallas County: 444. Tarrant County next door, run by Republicans: 223. Tarrant voters weren't having it. www.dworkinsubstack.com/p/trump-is-l...

I never thought I would hear something like this come out of an American in a Presidential administration position. This is so in American.

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff to Vladimir Putin today: “You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. And I salute that. I commend you.”

Just don’t expect him to pay his fair share of taxes though. He has no problem paying to buy elections though.

Robert Reich@rbreich.bsky.social

Elon Musk has spent at least $366 million since July to boost Republicans ahead of the 2026 midterms. That’s just 0.0385% of his total net worth. Oligarchs can rig the system at the expense of everyone else, and only spend pennies doing so. We must get Big Money out of politics.

This administration will never take responsibility for anything. They are still blaming Biden all that Trump is doing. Trump attacked Iran and helps Russia instead of Ukraine. Don’t blame Biden.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

WELKER: What do you say to voters who say they're struggling & want change? BESSENT: Well, why don't we revisit the Biden-era policies W: Trump has been in office for 636 days, & inflation was at 3% when he took office, it's 3.7% now. At what point does the administration take responsibility?

Trump hired someone completely over her head unvetted who lied repeatedly about her professional background for years. She was really bad at the job. Then his friend Hannity did a hit job to take her out. Trump fires her. Naturally, MAGA is blaming the media and Democrats.

Susan has been made to look like a fool for all the bad decisions she has made under Trump as President.

Troy Jackson@troyjackson207.bsky.social

Everyone in the country knew Kavanaugh was going to overturn Roe v. Wade. But Susan Collins voted for him anyway.

And if that is the case, Trump had 2 years to replenish the stock and did nothing. It is always someone else’s fault, never his.

MeidasTouch@meidastouch.com

Remember that everything Trump says is a lie and the opposite is often true. Trump frequently claims he “rebuilt” the U.S. military. That’s the tell. He’s recklessly depleted U.S. munitions and interceptors. And once again, he’s trying to blame Biden.

I voted early yesterday. All blue. I will never vote for another Republican now that Trump and MAGA destroyed the entire party.

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

When you see all these corrupt, ridiculously unqualified and incompetent Trump officials in action, realize that it is only possible because Republicans have the majority in the senate and voted to confirm them. The only way to stop it is to take that majority away.

I am sure she will try to destroy the Trump’s now and I will enjoy watching it play out. I wonder if she knows what was in Trump’s dead x wife’s casket. She has the foods and I am sure she won’t remain quiet.

If it is all Biden’s fault, how come you haven’t lowered inflation? You have been in office for 2 years and have made everything more expensive by invading Iran.

Patrick Chovanec@prchovanec.bsky.social

It is so unfair to Trump that Biden keeps making inflation go up.

Portland Press-Herald: why we know that the corruption allegations leveled at Susan Collins are correct—the firm that was at the center of the whole grift is still working for Susan Collins. If she disapproved, she would have fired them long ago. www.pressherald.com/2026/10/13/s...

It's been quite the week for Kimberly Guilfoyle. A few days ago, news broke of her alleged pay-for-access scheme. Fast forward to today and the White House asked for her resignation after it was revealed she was threatening Greek officials and taking improper gifts. Full show at link in comments ⬇️

😬 Katie Zacharia's first press briefing was brutally bad 😬 Trump managed to find a press secretary who can barely read, but she does have the number one qualification -- looking like Ivanka Here's a supercut from Zacharia's first briefing, which made Karoline Leavitt seem like Ronald Reagan

It’s about time judges start taking action against Trump when he doesn’t obey a judges orders.

Christopher Webb@cwebbonline.com

This judge is not fucking around 🔥 Trump bulldozed ahead with cutting down hundreds of trees at the historic East Potomac Golf Links, despite a federal judge’s warning. She ordered work stopped & warned: “If that order is violated by as so much as two seconds, there will be contempt proceedings.”
