More observations about the French. No. 5: they understand style. Not as in, they copy the fashion ads. As in, they have a sense of it, how it complements one's character, and what it adds to life to look the part. I've seen homeless people looking fly as hell.

No. 3: They seem to love coffee, but they don't know how to spell or make espresso. The only way they can fix it is with so much milk and cacao powder the coffee is nowhere to be found.

No. 2: they are romantic about some very minor stuff. Like putting fruit and vegetables in paper bags, even though plastic would be much more practical. Makes life slightly more annoying sometimes but a lot more aesthetic.

I'm on vacation and making some observations on the French. No. 1: they are still convinced smoking is cool and not disgusting. Their sense of style trumps their sense of health and smell in public places.

My two favourite Magic sets. 30th Anniversary Edition and the Zeta set. The two great waves of #mtg players realising they can just turn on the printer.
