One of the hardest parts of recovery is realizing when I've pushed myself too far or if I need to slow down and rest (which now comes with tangible consequences like stumbling around and leg pains). I get frustrated with myself when I can't do things or when I'm starting to backslide a little bit.

Dealing with medical stuff is extremely stressful for someone that's supposed to be taking it easy and recovering. Anyway my super specialized neurologist appointment is rescheduled for three weeks after it was originally, which is also my 43rd birthday. Yay ✨️
