I guess I'm just saying, water is a bitch. Will and Vinny just talked about this on Techpod - you don't want water in your house. In our case it would only flood on incredibly heavy, flash flood rain, but once the pump was in, I could see how much water was always lurking even on small rains.

If you get someone in there and they suggest a perimeter trench draining to a sump pump, just do it. I hated paying for it with every inch of my being, but my basement never flooded again. If I could do it over again I'd pay them twice as much to avoid the stress it put on me and my partner.

@jeffgeerling.com So I've been using Nest Wifi in my house, before that a Cudy P5 while on the road, but want something new to run my network. I am interested in building my own router, but don't need 10gb or anything wild. In fact, I only have one small desktop hardwired, everything else is wifi

@adrs.bsky.social I really enjoyed your article about how you use your fitness tracker. My spine was also diagnosed with POTS, MCAST, and has discovered a few other diagnoses over the last couple of years. She also started using the Visible app this year and seems to experience things exactly as..

.. you are. I'm glad to see people bringing more awareness to these conditions and sharing the ways in which they adjust to them to continue to live their life vs laying in bed all day. I'm sure it's incredibly difficult to manage, but it's nice to see more methods of doing so. I think the most..

..impactful point might have been you pointing out that the metrics bring a validity to something you experience that has no outward visibility to others. A "proof", so to speak, that your heart rate can spike when you are just sitting there.I just wanted to drop on and say it was a great article.

I want to support this person as we move closer to media and reporters we trust. It seems the platform provides a voice to ANYONE, which is why there are Nazis, but there are also legitimate reporters. How do I support these news outlets while not supporting trash when it's on the same platform?

Joe Biden needs to utter the phrase, "I don't know when Trump became so obsessed with me. Clearly he's in love with me. Which is flattering, but I'm not interested." Just putting that into the universe.

@willsmith.fun I'm going to be on a plane for 8 hours and haven't done much gaming in the last 10 years, although I continue to stay up to date via the Whiskey Media alum. I'll be using an M3 Pro w/32gb ram and an xbox controller. So far I have Steamworld Dig, Control, Death Stranding, Outer Wilds

I don't have a lot of friends to discuss this topic with. I'm in no way trying to be critical of this film, this is a personal thought. Does the #Superman movie look bad? More specifically, there's so much going on, does it already seem impossible to achieve a satisfying and coherent conclusion?

Furthermore (I'm sorry) I was telling him about Fable and he said that sounds exactly like what he wants in a game. I think Boulder's Gate 3 would be perfect, but we only have a Switch and Windows machine with a GTX-1070
