Rift Rocket

I'm gonna make a thread compiling random bits of worldbuilding I came up with for Rifter, Ether, Xatchel, and all the random bullshit that centers around them. I won't reveal *everything*, but just enough to get a better idea and stuff Thread down here 👇

Edited a tiny little small intro youtu.be/0xPSujn54ts

How possible would it be to have a well-running video game that looks like CGI animation and renders from the 2000s? Done with real 3D graphics, not pre-rendered visuals.

I'm gonna make the Nish video game on Blitz3D

My favorite kind of jump in video games is a combination of fast falling and smooth air control. I like being able to move almost freely in the air, while still needing to commit to my jumps when landing.

Wanted to post a higher quality update to my Sonic Battle styled Mario sprite. It’s been very on & off, but I made some tweaks, made a small sprite for the overworld HUD, and I’ve been trying to figure out where to go next. #pixelart #SonicTheHedgehog #Mario

I'm not alone in finding it weird to call something a "franchise"? Like oh, I'm a big fan of the Mega Man franchis- it's weird to me. I feel like a shill calling things that, even though I know there's nothing wrong with that.

As a creative exercise, I wrote a Mario fanfic in under 24 hours. It's entirely improvised, so it's very nonsensical. archiveofourown.org/works/943725...

Thinking of renaming Nish's dads, not really feeling Rox and Stix. I'm thinking...Ruce and Sdek. I'll stick with it.

This is a little confusing, but here's my general rule of thumb regarding me and my OC: If I'm referring to myself, I'm Rift. If I'm referring to the fictional character that represents me online, that's Rifter. Don't get these two confused, or else you will get a bad day(not fully guaranteed).

Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil is my new nemesis.

Hatty Time is now my favorite number! #ahatintime

www.twitch.tv/altermentality Donkey Kong Country megafan watches the TV show after not having seen it since she was a wee child, for research purposes (actually)

Creative Tip: if you're putting something bad in your thing, that's bad. You should put something good instead.

My bksy feed has been giving me artists who also draw with a slightly chunky, non anti-aliased brush. I dunno if it somehow recognizes the style of my recent works and giving me artists with similar styles, or if it's just a coincidence, but it's funny.

Ya done goofed, Murph. Beneath the Grove updates every Saturday. Latest: beneaththegrove.thecomicseries.com Read from the start: beneaththegrove.thecomicseries.com/comics/1 #Webcomics #Comics #BeneathTheGrove

Saw my9albums float around, so I figure I make my own image. There's a bunch of albums I've listened to, but I think these are the albums that shaped my music tastes during my youth, not in any order.

Friends, the time is upon us. Before the Kremling Kronology enters an era of innovative 3D games, we need to check out an innovative 3D show. Noon pacific/3:00 eastern. Tomorrow. www.twitch.tv/altermentality Four to five hours of as much of season 1 as we can get through. 🍌 slamma.

I need to catch up on Iglooghost lore

greye is a funny character, being modeled after a mascot character of sorts and thus giving away the general expectation that she'd be the same ever helpful, silent sweetheart then she (silently) says the most sarcastic jab you've ever heard (or read) and realize, no, that is greye

I find it interesting how polish is desirable in games, film, etc., but in the realm of music a lesser amount of polish is itself very appealing to a lot of people. I know I like it when a song sounds like scraping metal in a toolshed.

Earthbound🌎 Earthbound/Mother 2 thing I drew a little while ago, not really sure how I feel about it #Mother2 #Earthbound

For a while now I've been meaning to make a compilation of the illustrations I used for my Bananza playthrough videos! Here you go- this sums up the experience, I guess!!
