Alternates to existing systems need to be considered, if only to identify flaws or weaknesses in the existing systems. I suspect that we could deliver certain products and services far more effectively and efficiently if profit was not required.

IF, as appears to be the case, a bunch of people are almost openly stealing from the US government, by leveraging their positions in said government. They must on some level think they can get away with it. Why?

Apparently you can build or retrofit data centers to use zero or very little water, using dry or closed loop cooling systems. However, these alternatives use more electricity. www.datacenterknowledge.com/cooling/evap... Depending on region, electricity is more expensive than municipal water. 1/2

datacenterknowledge.comWhy Data Centers Still Rely on Evaporative CoolingEvaporative cooling still dominates data centers, but with rising liquid cooling adoption, is the industry ready to embrace more sustainable solutions?

Lately, for various reasons, I've been watching or reading stuff about Nazi Germany, or Hitler, and the various ideologs and sycophants around that leader. I mean, I already had a general idea, but the more I see/read, the more I find myself asking. Are the people currently running the USA all...

...fools on a power fantasy trip inspired by some fawning understanding of how awesome it was to work for the formerly mentioned leader? Or is it just natural for human narcissists and assholes like these to act in this way?

Humans are inherently flawed, with an almost uncanny ability to rewrite their own history so they are correct. We prefer myths to reality, because in reality, we often fail, and cause harm when doing so. Any functional society must take this into account and correct for it as best they can.

I may be partially wrong about a few nuances or details in the above issues, but each of these are definitely something congress needs to be closely watching and acting upon, in service to their constituents. The American people are watching, get to work and wrangle this chaos into order. Please.

DoGE is a thinly veiled con pretending to be an effort to cut fraud and waste, while actually serving as a bludgeon haphazardly wielded by Elon Musk for the purpose of harming cases against and regulation on his business interests.

The second worst problem we face is the current President's chaotic and incoherent policy of not making clear what if any tariffs are going to be in place. This is unacceptable. If needed, congress needs to act by at the very least temporarily removing the power to tariff from the Executive branch.

The worst problem we face is the threat to due process as protected by the 5th amendment - multiple residents of the USA have been removed to another nation without proper due process. This is utterly and completely unacceptable, and reversing it should be your primary concern.

We need to seriously consider whether allowing persons with billionaire money to influence politics to the degree Musk and others have is acceptable. Purely from the perspective of having any form of democracy, it is dangerous to allow. Block the influence and remove the money.

Does anyone else have accounts follow them that have between 0 and 10 posts or replies? You aren't sure if they're bots or just new users, but you wonder if you should keep and eye on them in case they need blocked. I could probably just make a list and put them in it so I remember to check. Nah.

Recently (about 3 days ago) I saw commentary or discussion where a Democrat was pleased at how smoothly and without issue the normal procedures for counting the EC had gone. Perhaps even congratulatory towards each other? I find myself wondering if we will not look fondly upon that, in future.
