store.steampowered.comEndless Forest on SteamYou find yourself in an unending forest, trees as far as the imagination can reach. How did you get here? Where even are you? At this point you are really only left with one option, chop trees and hon...

Endless Forest will be heading to the steam store soon! Explore the mysterious woods and gather wood to upgrade your power, speed and more. I will make another post when the steam store page is public (it's currently in review) #godot #gamedev #indiedev #solodev

Working on improving the visuals of the game like environment and such, its been really fun to just work on the details a bit #godot #gamedev #indiedev #solodev

Slowly but surely getting there. I finally added saving functionality to my game. As the player discovers new tiles they will remain discovered and chooped trees will remain chopped. #godot #gamedev #solodev

Spent 20 hours on the weekend on my small gamejam game and its slowly taking shape, i think i might actually be able to finish a project this time.

So the gamejam i mentioned started, i already spent about 6 hours working on the game today qwq Well i had an idea (not gonna reveal it yet) but heres a simple screenshot. Yes the graphics are gonna be very bare bones, gonna focus on gameplay mainly lol (only 10 days ;w;) #gamedev #solodev #godot

attempting to make a broken cabin of some sort, its been a lot of work for a newbie and still not done but i think im getting there, it has been very fun learning blender though #blender #godot #solodev #gamedev

Its been a bit since i last posted since there was a lot going on but getting back on track heres a little bench i made for my small game #godot #gamedev #blender

Done with the different types of trees at least for now, will probably rework/polish them later but this is good enough for the moment. They're all based on real trees, can you guess which ones they are? #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #godot #3dart

Sometimes doing less is doing more. Took a smol break from my project but will continue tomorrow :3 Don't forget to take breaks! #gamedev #indiedev #solodev

Making some progress for my game, slowly starting to look like a game :3 Definitely had a lot of fiddling around to do and the workflow wasn't optimal but gonna get there eventually #Godot #gamedev #indiedev #solodev

Put chest i made in blender into world, after struggling a bit with properly importing it to godot, but looks alright for now, next up i wanna try and make the chest openable. #gamedev #solodev #indiedev #godot #blender

Made my first ever 3d environment. There was definitely more to consider than I initially thought but building this world for my small game is pretty fun so far, looking forward to making it look good in the end. #indiedev #godot #solodev #gamedev

I started writing a gratitude journal because i think its fun to think about the positives in life. I wanna see if i can stick with it and if it improves my life 😊

Since I dont really know how to make 3d models and wanted to learn it i decided to download blender and just make something today. I have created a tree Very simple but good enough for my first ever 3d model id say 😅 #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #blender

Update for my small game that im making in the bus to work: I got some decent progress this week and the base structure is pretty much done, might be able to show screenshots soon. I'm trying really hard to keep the scope of what the game will be very small. #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #godot

I thought I’d finished up the crafting system. But, you know when you go to bed and then spend the night thinking about all the stuff you forgot to implement. Yeah…that 🫠 Today: ☑️ extend the game save file to include crafting ☑️ crafting should give the player EXP #GameDev | #IndieGame | #SoloDev

I'm not inherently against the use of AI, but it should really have no place in art of any kind. Art is something that should be reserved for people, because its influenced by experiences, emotions, ideologies. Things that an AI does not have. Please discord dont go this route #gamedev #discord

The Water Elemental Maru is one of the 4 Starters (alongside previously posted Terron) of my Monster Collection Roguelike. Still new to pixel art, especially with higher resolution but I think it turned out alright, might need more detail work though. #gamedev #solodev #godot

I have to drive to work via bus every day 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back. I decided to buy a used laptop and develop a small game on the way to work and back. Im curious to see what i can do in that time instead of just sitting in the bus listening to music or something. #gamedev #godot

Currently working on my map system of my Beast Collection Roguelike, it's procedural and the red dots will be the "Encounters" where various things can happen, such as Battles, Treasure etc. Took a while to make it connect properly 😪 But glad that it works now 😄

Currently making a turn based monster collection roguelike, i decided to go for pixel art as thats somewhat easy to learn, still pretty new to it though, but heres one of the many "Beasts" that will be in this game, "Terron":

You are up to date.
