Here for clarity, not clickbait. I post fact-based political commentary, call out hypocrisy, and focus on real-world impact. Expect occasional dry humor, but mostly reality checks, context, and process over performance. If you want facts over slogans, you’re welcome to follow me.

We have friends over before we leave for DragonCon. I thought I would get everyone coffee… two of the five drinks wouldn’t stay in the holder so I put them in the cup holders…. I sent this clip to my sister and she said, “What level of lexapro are you on?” 🤣 #dragoncon2026

This sentence “I am an extraordinarily brilliant person” and Trump are never allowed to be in the same room together.

This is loser behavior.

The very agencies meant to investigate this have been hollowed out by the same administration being investigated. That’s the core problem. The watchdogs have been defanged.

ICE officer leaves ICE “battle plan” on the bus. This is the quality that virtually no screening and only 47 days of training gets you.

I'm going to get some more security cameras and I love that @ubiquiti.bsky.social is transparent about the #tariff - More companies need to show this. They have elected to bear a portion of the increased cost to relieve the burden on customers.

(1) Real talk: Dems have good people. But leadership is old and often out of step with daily costs. Republicans adapted faster in media and tactics. We need to fix the pipeline now.

(9) Use ballot measures where allowed. Fair maps and voting access win across parties. Pair them with pocketbook wins like wages and housing so people have a reason to vote.

(10) Your turn. What would you do in the next 90 days that is real and measurable. Drop ideas. If you already do this work, share what has worked in your town so others can copy it.

(7) Run where people live. School boards, utility boards, water districts, and housing authorities. Win local races and build trust before asking for Congress.

(8) Make it easy to volunteer. One click text banks. Weekend child care for canvassers. Gas cards and transit stipends. Remote roles for people with disabilities.

(5) Modern messaging. Work with creators. Fast fact checks. Short explainers with sources. Weekly live Q and A. Use simple tools that show what a bill does and who voted for or against it.

(6) Community work is the brand. Free legal clinics, tax prep, food share, and school supply drives. Every district. Every month. Politics is service.

(3) Commit to succession. Set dates for leadership handoffs. Open committee chairs to rotating terms. Pair elders with two deputies who take over within one cycle.

(4) Build a bench. Recruit from unions, schools, service groups, immigrant groups, and veterans. Pay trainees. Fund year round fellowships for local organizers. No unpaid internships

Yeah, imagine replacing “War on Mr. Potato Head” with “War on billionaires keeping grandpa’s yacht tax-free.” Now that’s a meltdown worth watching 😂

The administration is removing phone support for Soc Security recipients. Making it more difficult for seniors to get their checks. It’s a back door way to cut SS benefits. Horrific. If you know anyone who is impacted, please help them get online to get their benefits approved
