Welcome to 2026 "Game a Week". This is something I started in 2020 and generally been doing every year. To break up the slower periods when I am doing a long term game, I will be introducing replays of short games that I not beat in a while and trying to do "by the books", aka no save states.

Think I am going to rest Game a Week for the year. I just not been as creative along with IRL stuff. It not that I stopped playing games...it just they are all digital only Steam games at the moment.

Once Again Time For the Worst Game of All Time (Outside of the Porn Games) 10. ET 9. Fisherprice Firehouse Rescue 8. Raid 2020 7. Awesome Possum 6. Bad Rats 5. Sword of Sodan 4. Ride to Hell: Retribution 3. Superman 64 2. Aquaman 1. Fortnite

So no game a week so far this week but debating ending it for the year and returning in January. I do enjoy doing these, but lately my gaming has been digital only games that dont count. Biggest stumbling block is longer game so I am force to pick random one off games that often dont get completed.

Delay on game of the week. Was going to post it tonight but the Switch 2 update for the game is taking too long.

Sorry for the delay on the game of week posting. The tv stand in my room broke on Saturday and the new one wont be in until tomorrow. It will be posed tomorrow or Thursday.

Week 01 - Sonic the Hedgehog: Let start this year with a classic, the original Sonic the Hedgehog. I picked this since I never really beat any of the Genesis games without save states, and while I did had to use the level select code twice (since continues are incredibly rare in it), I did beat it.

And that's a wrap for "Games a Week" for 2025. In total beat 27 out of 52* (last day was four games) picked this year. A few games I picked are actually still being played like Star Wars Outcast and Dragon Quest IX, but no where near finished. Still deciding on 2026 being weekly or monthly.

Okay so now this game a week has been posted, I want to ask something. I do want to continue doing this year so it not like a few years ago when I quit doing it, but I am feeling the one game a week format isn't working. Thinking of switching to monthly, as I tend to play longer games like DQ9 here.

It been a while but here is the updated list of worst game ever made: 10. Castle of Deceit 9. Operation Secret Storm 8. Beyond Two Souls 7. ET on the Atari 6. Raid 2020 5. X-Men on the NES 4. BMXXX 3. Guy Game 2. Custard Revenage 1. Fortnite
