We rented a theater to watch Sound of Music in lieu of a traditional funeral for my mom. The theater erupted in the applause of our friends and family when he tore down the Nazi flag. Both of my parents would have been so proud.

My favorite part of any big holiday is getting to spend time with my family. Getting to be with my kids and their wonderful partners is the most precious gift I could hope for, especially since this was my first Christmas without Dad. My girls and my husband really are my best friends.

Went to visit my Mom in the hospital today. In the elevator leaving, the first floor button was labeled "Labyrinth." (Main floor is the second floor.) I really want to know what is on that first floor. Picturing David Bowie in tight pants and a bunch of muppets.

First world fandom problem. Macbeth with #DavidTennant will be showing in my area while I am out of town on business. And it's not showing in the place I'm going. So I won't get to see it in the theater. Hopefully it gets streamed or on DVD at some point. 😢 😭

One of my favorites because my husband took it for me when he was an extra on a David Tennant movie. This was during the dinner break.

When I get angry, looking at photos that bring me joy helps. Joy is worth fighting for. Also, how cute is my family?* *Not actually related to Vico or my daughter's girlfriend, but 10/10 would adopt them both.
