A little bit of the process of the colorshifting dragon. Used chameleon pigments watercolors that chande their hue under different viewing angles. My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #art #WIP #progress #dragon

Colorshift watercolors. These are amazing color changing pigments. only downside is trying to find motifs and ways to use them and not make it look too gimicky. Here is an eastern dragon . this one took a long time to color in all the scales and design it in sketching process.

The atempt was made to make this one look like it's intergrated in to part of the nature. I do like the how it works with the frame. maybe it would need a little larger one though. My website: https://rivalmit.com/gallery

and some of the painting process. I did intend her to be white. but the blue snuch in there.... one these days I WILL make that white dragon I'm dreaming of. someday! My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #WIP

intehrating some 3D with 2D aspects to create the base for the dragoness  My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #sculpture #WIP #progress #dragon #dragoness #wings

I didnt rememeber to take more progress shots of this one. ah well, enjoy what there is at least. The fruit bat fella  My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #WIP #bat #art #sculpture #progress #wings

bat fella! he is free standing and can be removed from it's branch. this was a bit of a departure from the usual works I do but I'm glad I did it :) My website: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #bat #wings #fruitbat #sculpture

Progress shots from a scrawny little sculpture to the final painted piece. alway a joy to see how it all comes together when painting on those final stripes of the tiger :) My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery

Cute little tiger fella. always a joy to add those finishing touches on painting when putting those stripes on a suddenly it all comes together :) My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #sculpture #tiger #cub #art

some progress pictures of the little baby dragon. as shown the nest changed concept a couple of times before I landed on one that fit with the vision I wanted. My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #sculpture #art

Isnt this baby adorable? who would not want one? XD This one gave me some problems with the nest as I was not liking the previous versions at all untill I build the nest from smaller twigs and roots to make it look as realistic as I could get. My website: https://rivalmit.com/gallery

Something very simple. a bit of a monochrome sketchy drawing with the dragon and the cat in there. nothing complicated. #art #painting #dragon #sketch #doodle

and a few progress shots of Reykur sculpture. the base was fun to make, specially the spring  fall there ^^ My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #sculpture #art #WIP #progress #dragon

This fella was done a while back and I should have uploaded it long ago ^^' This fella is having a grand time there enjoying a good swim! Commission for Reykur My website: https://rivalmit.com/gallery

This is a bat kitty. One of my fun creations. not very original but ok XD  she is a rare white version The piece is balanced sculpture called The Companions.  It has its own little stand to stand on. It is balanced so it stands on it's leg and requires no additional support.

Had some fun with  creating a fun label for spicy sauces :) character is @Akulatraxas #art #dragon #label #hot #spicy

And this is the little process of the dragon specimen. it's not much since I forgot to take more pictures. Looks cute in a hand there though XD My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #sculpture #art #WIP #progress

Something a little more morbid but non the less fascinating. The idea of creating these "scientific biological specimens" aestheatics is interesting. not a cut of tea for everyone but a little niche thing for some. My website: https://rivalmit.com/gallery

Must be easy to hunt from above. or hard, if there are trees when youre so big perhaps character @Akulatraxas  #art #painting #dragon #hunt #deer

Hmm, looks like he tried to hitch a ride on a train. But maybe close your wings when on a fast transport :O #art #dragon #train #sketch #travel

Been following some drawing instructions from a procreate tutorial book and eventually veered off to implement some other elements XD so here is a swimming Aku. The goal was to achieve that water surface and reflection. Character: @Akulatraxas #art #painting #dragon

Somewhere above the sandy beach flies a hunter looking for a meal. perhaps a fish, perhaps a crab or an unsuspecting human! A draw over of a photograph.  Photo and Character @Akulatraxas  #painting #dragon #photograph #drawover #hunting

last Smaugust of the month. the prompt was Love or Death. the concept is free for interpretation as I didnt have a clear direction with this one, just went with the flow, but it does feel tragic . what do you think ? any opinions how to interprate this one? #art

a last dich-attempt to catch the Smaugust's end Here is Akulatraxas and the cat enjoying the view. what started as stars, turned to fireflies but could be both :) #art #painting #dragon #smaugust #2026

process pictures from an earlier upoad of a little tiger on a log. always fun to make those stripes, makes the whole thing come together ^^ Full 360° view on my wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery/1-sculptures/418-baby-tiger #sculpture #art #WIP #progress #tiger

There is no better enjoyment than a well deserved sweet nap in life. Ended up epxerimenting for the pillow as I originally wanted to make the pillow real but  switched to rigid sculpt covered in fabric for better control on how it looks. Funny how things change #art #fox

Another foxy in the works form last year! very few progress shots unfortunately. I forgot to take more TuT  and he has a companion sleepy foxy!  he seems to be enyoing the nap thought, doing a biiiig streatch. My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery

One of my fun techniques are faux vitraj-es. I quite like the process and the visuals of it.  Video of the rainbow light scattering can be viewed here: https://bsky.app/profile/rivalmit.bsky.social/post/3monwfe3uwk2p #art #painting #tiger #vitraj #foil

Hopefully the video works. if not, ah well XD it was such a pain trying to capture that shine flow. damn near impossible and in real life it's way prettier. One of my fun techniques are faux vitraj-es. I quite like the process and the visuals of it.  #art #tiger #vitraj

Firast stages of getting the castle base made. and one of most adorable booklets I ended up making. I loved how it came out and the texture papaer for the coverd I had really fit the middle ages aestheatics   #sculpture #art #WIP #progress #dragon

In a far away land, upon the remains of a castle still standing on this ancient land, rests a dragon with a thick tome in his paws.  commission done for @Thorphax Full 360 view : https://rivalmit.com/gallery/1-sculptures/421-tuscanian-lord

And the progress shots of the little fella. Havent captured too much form the early stages but at least there's some shots of the fur progress final piece and full 360 view: https://rivalmit.com/gallery/1-sculptures/420-baby-howling-wolf-ef-25  My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery

Used dry brush techique for paintng and making the markins. overall, I think the colors blends much better and more naturally than more pasty layering. Am happy with it! My wesite: https://rivalmit.com/gallery #sculpture

Here is some progress of how the tiger was made. I layed down a white base to make the colors pop a bit more and it seems to have worked :) If there's anyone out there more experienced with the medium feel free to let me knowif there's another way to achieve brighter colors on toned paper.

After long long long, I've picked up just colored pencils and made something. These are often viewed as art supplys for children but you sure can make some amazing work if you put your mind to it. and I really like the end result! #art #painting

One of EF sculptures I had was this baby tiger.  Baby tiger be so adorable to me ^^ This time the base incorporates some natural environment Reel of this piece on my website: https://rivalmit.com/gallery/1-sculptures/418-baby-tiger

This is the work in progress of the already uploaded piece. Absolutely enjoyed the new method of fur making! part 2 finished piece :  https://rivalmit.com/gallery/1-sculptures/413-werewolf-transformation

This is the work in progress of the already uploaded piece.  One of the first times I've sculpted the  aluminium base as much as I could and I can say I'm loving it, good way to get better proportions. part 1 #sculpture #WIP #progress #transformation #werewolf
