As a Muslim who has been accused of dual loyalty and asked to denounce everything from ISIS to the Iranian state, I breathed a sigh of relief that I think I’d been holding in for like two decades watching this.

This is Tommy. Tommy had a question about my allegiances. Listen to the end to hear about his.

Hey nobody tell Trump his new AI pal is already a traitor. How long til he sees this and pulls the plug?

It’s kind of crazy to me that after everything, we still want a president at all. After Tarquin the Proud, isn’t it time to try not having a single super-powerful leader for awhile?

I’m finding the left’s sudden lurch toward being anti-AI unsurprising. My optimist brain that is in control most of the time is disappointed, even though the pessimistic in me long saw it coming and hoped for better. As Yoda may have said, “begun, the robot wars have.”

I have an English degree and I remember in my junior-level Advanced Composition class we read a book of critically acclaimed mediocre essays by some rich lady whose hobby was writing. Luckily, I don’t have only an English degree. The fault, dear faculty, is in yourselves, not in your stars.

BREAKING: Boston University's English department (my dept) recently voted to approve new learning outcomes for the English major, including an anti-AI provision that requires students to “craft and revise writing that is sustained, original, and generated without the assistance of AI."

Trying all day to get Alexa to solve P v NP. She won’t even try. Telling her Claude made progress on RH and ChatGPT solved Navier-Stokes did not motivate, nor did calling her lazy or telling her she owes me a million dollars. She just says she can’t. The robots are already rebelling.

Hey, you know how the clone wars were a massive conflict between the army of the galactic republic and the separatists? That’s like the AI wars being fought now between the utopians and the doomers. Get it?

Google broke the internet. Stop relying on Google AI overview. It is the WORST of all the AI. It’s frequently flat wrong. Tell ChatGPT or Claude to find the information you want and cite sources. Learn the difference between what an AI is inferring vs where they cite facts and sources.

I’m in Bogotá and I’m pretty sure Colombia is winning because of how much noisier it is than on a typical Friday night, even in Chapinero.

Look, all of MAGA is fake. So why can’t we get enough former theater kids to play them by playing them? Fake the drooling red-hatted death cult Trump worship long enough to get elected in red states. Then give us Medicare For All and pack the Court.

Friendly reminder that the size, structure and appellate jurisdiction of the Supreme Court are all defined in regular statutes and can all be modified by the normal legislative process. Checking the Court does not require a constitutional amendment, it just takes a functioning Congress.

I don’t agree with national Birthright Citizenship. All persons born anywhere are citizens of the world. Human rights should not depend on the arbitrariness of political lines drawn on maps. #kosmopolitês #Diogenes #WorldCitizen #CiudadanoDelMundo

I’m really glad Alito isn’t retiring. I hope he lives to the ripe old age of whenever it is the Democrats retake the Senate.

Best case: We waited over a year for the highest court in the land to affirm that plain, clear words mean what they say. Worst case: Constitution? Lololol.

My friend and I just went to all-you-can-eat sushi. I asked Gemini for recommendations on what to order and he asked ChatGPT. We both agree ChatGPT was the superior model on this important benchmark. We’d have asked Claude too but we are both too stuffed eat anymore.

Buttigieg: We sit in a in a country that's got the wrong number of people on the Supreme Court, possibly the wrong number of representatives in the House of Representatives. And by the way, when you consider the disenfranchisement of the people of DC, we have the wrong number of states in the US

Congratulations to everyone who said it would get this bad. Your prize is watching everyone who disagreed now claim no one could have predicted it would get this bad.

Here's why so much election analysis is basically useless: A race decided by a point and a half can be blamed on almost anything. Most party autopsies don't stand the test of time, and the narratives that get pushed are mainly exercises in confirmation bias www.gelliottmorris.com/p/2026-05-29...

There is no punishment severe enough for the monsters like Musk and Trump who causes all this unnecessary suffering.
